Just curious - what secure email provider are you using to go about you business??

I've been reading up on the most secure email providers because I've learned that SOME (not all) keep logs of your ip address, which can be turned over to authorities or any government agency (via supina) Also, depending on how the company operates, information could be stored on their servers. It's just been something that's on my mind.

I've had a few sources that requested I use another email provider because mine was not secure enough which I in fact thought was. These other providers cost money and require a tricky setup and browser configuration. I understand sources want to cover their asses so I have no problem with that.

Just wondering what you guys thought? Safety should be everyones number one concern so I think it's an important issue to address

That's the one I've been using. But apparently some sources do not want to do business through safe-mail

Last I checked, securenym is the safest. This is because they actually charge money for their even their basic services, so if they roll over to LE they will lose all their business.
The only real issue with safe-mail is that it is based in Israel, and the Isreali gov cooperates with the US. But I doubt that the US would bother asking for Israel's cooperation for some minor steroid case.

I run a software on my computer that hides my static IP on my router. I use gmail with the IP hide software. Unless you're a golden network manager that's about all I know to do.

China is the one place you wouldn't want to use...since they have a firewall that blocks every good site (including Facebook and Youtube). I had to use a VPN just to get on this site while in China.

    secure email

I've been using CryptoHeaven secure email for a while and it is totally secure and encrypted. It hides your IP and stores all data highly encrypted.

I use to use Cyber-Rights.net and switched to hush mail but I have been told both are no longer really safe.

    LOL

There is no such thing as "safe" or "anonymous" email, it's a dice roll either way. It comes down to if the alleged crime is worth the cost of the investigation.

If they really want to get you they are going to get you and your 'secure' email isn't going to make a difference
