receding hair options?
Hi All,
I have ran 2 cycles of test only, I have noticed a slight receding hair line compared to when I was natty. just wondering what people do to combat? is there a compound I can run as I would like to cycle in the future.
& also is there much I can do to help regain this hair lost?
any help appriciated.

Minoxidil (e.g. Rogaine, Kirkland) - at least 5% strength. And instead of Propecia, you should use Avodart (dutasteride), because it is much more effective (albeit still not officially approved). The minoxidil+dutasteride combo should be effective in the vast majority of people.

I hated the sides I got off of Finasteride (killed my libido). Tried Nizoral shampoo and cream on the advice of someone on this board for my first cycle. I have been GAINING hair I had already lost during my cycle! Love this stuff! Never gonna stop. Not easy to get b/c it is scrip only in the US, but no prob to get online.

hey gypsy... how old are you?
if it's showing, there's not a lot that can be done....
rogaine is only a temporary fix for MPB on the crown of the head (i.e. the top of the back of the head)
rogaine will actually (often times) cause an initial shedding of hair, then followed by regrowth (with twice daily applications)
but once you stop using it, POOF, the hair is gone in a matter of weeks.
propecia (finasteride)/ adovart (dutasteride) have been linked to long term erectile dysfunction in a lot of men
so take your pick.... a full head of hair, or a working pecker
really, it's all about how you see yourself.
and finally, remember, going bald isn't a choice but being bald is!

Great site with lots of info.
Lots of alternatives to propecia. I use their best current practice and seems to be doing well.

Ok will try a few products and see what happens.
Not sure what my future cycles will be. Not too keen on running test again now. Any suggestions?

It's too late the damage is done. If the male members of your family are prone to receding hair lines, ie your brothers, then it is unavoidable and the test will only accelerate the loss process. sounds like your screwed. welcome to wearing ball caps. when I first signed on here that is one of the questions I asked as I'm an extremely vain man who only has his fantastically great movie star looks going for me. But we are talking about you so hopefully you are at least a half way decent looking guy with a good gift of gab when it comes to the ladies or you will be doubly screwed.

I think give finasteride a try, if that doesn't work not much else you can do. Time to start shaving it.

lol @ Shol'va
hair is def not that bad - no where near the time to shave, still a full head. just a slight receed. it's always been high but I noticed after my test cycles it has advanced slightly.
might have to look at other compounds in future, maybe GH.
