Stanozolol tabs split in half

So my gym partner is Mc Guyver with gear, his newest "invention" is to take half a tab of winny in the morning and another in the afternoon. It makes sense given the 8 hour halflife on it, however, breaking the coating does much against whatever time release it has, furthermore, compromises the integrity of the 17aa that is intended to make the first pass through the liver as complete as possible. So I see the possible pros and cons. Anyone have any info on this?

Your friend isn't doing anything new at all. This is standard procedure, as there is no time-released coating, nor does Winstrol rely on anything of the sort for absorption. 17aa steroids are just as orally bioavailable when you eat the straight powder, so it makes no difference.

Couldn't hurt. I always tried to split my orals up so that I had 1 dose pre-workout, and the other at another point in the day (generally upon waking, since I lift late).
