    On gear in the heat!

I have apretty serious question for the guys who have used for awhile and work in the heat. I do construction in N.Y alot on roofs specifically. I am out in the heat all summer long and my second cyle will land about next summer since my first is in the fall. Has anyone done this in real heat like when its 90-105 im on the roof! Is there consern for heart rate? can it increase chance of heat stroke? etc. thanks alot I really need to know this one as I cannot avoid this scenario since its my job.

I work in the heat as well, building homes. I make sure I carry water around to help regulate temperature. In some cases I have used a platypus water system for carrying water around when having a jug nearby was impractical. Get a boone hat and sew on a viel for your neck. It might seem like too much at first but with water and the fact that your neck & head doesnt get exposed to the direct sun it will really make you feel better at the end of the day. Try also wearing long sleeve white shirts to cover up more. If there is one thing we can learn from arabs its to cover up in the heat to survive longer.

The elevated temperature I have while on test in the sun has never made me feel as though I will get heat stroke sooner, everyone is different though. Have you experienced elevated heart rate while working? I know I have, but if it is a concern monitor it and track your own body's heart rate, only way to surely know.

    Good luck brotha

i noticed it more in the beginning of my cycle that the heat affected me differently than usual. i actually lift weights on my back porch and play basketball in the heat and it does seem that my heart rate is a little more elevated. i also sweat uncontrollably.

gixxer got it. Cut out the caffiene and energy drinks and smokes if you do. Havoc on your heart, especially in the heat. Take a magnesium supp in the morning/night to lower your BP and give your heart some rejuv. ZMA is a great product, cheap as dirt too.

Avoid stimulants, T3, and heavy androgens. These all increase body temp.

Once you are off the stimulants you'll feel better I think. When you are finished the cut I imagine you'll be fine on test in the heat. Keep an eye on it though and be precautionary.
