Your stats are not that impressive, regardless of age, and even assuming I wholly supported your decision to juice so young I don't like your cycle plan. That's as far as I'm going here.

There isn't an exact age were we all stop developing and growing because this is determined by our genes and DNA, we are all genetically programmed individually and we inherit our genes from our parents. To give an exact age we stop growing would be incorrect because everyone's genetic blueprint is different. The main development of our bodies is up to the age of 21yrs of age but this can vary between individuals. There are parts of our bodies what carry on developing and adjusting slowly up until the age of 25yrs old, an example of this is the brain. The Endocrine system is a part of the brain what is very complex and keeps our bodies in a homeostasis state. Our testosterone levels start raising and roughly peak around 25yrs old and then start to slowly decline, so even though some of us may have stopped growing at the age of 21yrs old, others may still be developing up until the age of 25yrs old.

I have recently spoken to my Endo regarding this matter and he tells me that the HPTA is very sensitive and as many pathways how it regulates the human body, he states steroids disrupt the normal balance of hormones in the body which can cause reversible and irreversible changes at any age but risks are far more if you administrate exogenous androgens during development, this will put you in a very unnatural environment at a crucial time and your hormones should be treated with care especially in the early stages of maturity. The adverse effects can be erratic behaviour of the HPTA and potentially therapy when your older.

I did ask him what age he would think would be the safest as far as risk to damages and he said many endocrinologist suggest full maturation is reached by 25 years of age and this would also give the HPTA time to be established with your natural hormone balance and patterns. I personally feel 24-25yrs old would also be ideal starting point to get bloodwrok drawn to see exact what your natural levels are before starting any kind of cycles and waiting till you have reach your testosterone peak would be a good starting point, for me there is to much evidence over the forums and what I've seen personally over the last 25yrs I've been bodybuilding. Obviously it isn't going to be all 19- 21yr old bodybuilders who suffer side effects what are irreversible but I am edging on the side of caution what age I advice to the newbies.

appreciate the replies, makes me second think to wait a couple of years to start gear. I just wanted to cut some bodyfat% and put on some muscle. I eat anywhere from 4000-4500 cals a day, clean diet. I lift 5-6 times a week, with light cardio on most days.

Money ain't a problem as i kno var is expensive, but i just want some more input. I feel like im ready to start juicing now, but generally speaking, is it best to wait a few years?

appreciate the feedback, some of you must have done it around the age of 20. If so, did any side effects occur that were irreversible? My diet and training is in check, im just impatient for gains right now. Does my cycle need more work like ErnstHatAgnst said?? And if i were to use gear, i wouldn't start until the new year (Jan 2012).

So you started training around 16 years old and have had great personal results but feel as though you have plateaued. Did you think about changing workouts in every way you could think of and tweak your diet? Your body is still producing natural test and you are growing. Yes things do slow down and gains are hard to come by but why risk damaging your endocrine system and possibly having irresverible side effects from just one cycle cause you WANTED to get 10 more pounds of muscle?

Just slow down and research on here for a while and learn. When the time is right at the proper age you will have to best thing you van have with steroids , KNOWLEDGE!

I juice at 21 (could have been 20) for the first time. No irreversible damage but I definately f*cked myself up for a year or so. If I had the chance to do it over again I would have waited at least 2 more years. Wish I had access to the wealth of knowledge in this forum 12 years ago.

yea i trained at 16, i switch my routine around every 2-3 months, usual switch up exercises every 1-2 weeks in my routine. Gains are coming, but very slowly, but thats only natural.

I think its pretty clear on my decision, i'll wait a few more years, gain experience and knowledge before i start juicing so i dont f*ck myself up. Thanks again for the help!!

Dont waste money on Var for growth. Run the test with another compund like deca , eq. If you want to do Orals try Tbol, dbol , oxymetholone.

well i chose var because it was a low androgenic , and had little to no estrogen side effects. I said above ill wait, but im really anxious to start a cycle to see how much muscle i can pack on. i love working out, im extremely addicted to it, and i keep thinking about my decision to do or not to do roids.

eventhough i want to pack on muscle, my first cycle would need to be pretty basic, and not to mix different compounds together since im not sure if gyno would appear or not. any young guns out there who have done orals with success and no irreversible sides?
