    Getting older and shoulder pain..

    Stats, 38 6'1 245, 20+yrs lifting

    Played D-1 football from 1992-1995

    Hurt my shoulder in 1993 and the pain as came and gone since, Just coming off a shoulder scope 6 weeks ago
    to take out some cartlidge. I also have some tendonitis in the shoulder. Question, do you guys lay off bench all
    together if experiencing the same issue? I can bench for about 2 good months then pain starts back up. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

    try just using dumbells and stay away from cable xovers. alot of guys with shoulder problems give up bench especially flat bench.
