So it seems the consensus is that in itself, Test (or any other AAS) doesn't actually CUT fat. It helps you maintain muscle mass while you use diet (calorie deficit) and cardio to actually cut the fat.
In other words, no shortcuts. One still MUST diet and train correctly.

I read that injected test increases metabolism (burning more calories) and increases the percentage of calories burned from fat. I was only saying that wasn't the PRIMARY effect I used it for. There are no HUGE shortcuts.

I thought doing a cycle for that was overkill.

Hopefully you aren't taking my comment to mean it zero effect on fat loss. That isn't what I meant at all...I stated that my last cut went very well.

Crap, in explaining myself it sounds like I am arguing. I'm not.
I got what your saying and I agree with everything and op is like many others that need to push extra hard with diet and if cardio for to lose those last few.

Can I make a suggestion or post an idea for you? Why not continue being natural for now and work on getting cut like you desire for summer. And then maintain it through the fall then bulk in the winter with your first cycle when you can maximize the muscle gained? Then next year you can get all cut up again and look even better for summer? If that is what you are after. I dunno unless you don't want a lot of muscle, but 200 lbs and 8% bf is a pretty good amount of muscle you would need to put on, so give it time. Unless like someone mentioned earlier, if you have low test cutting will be harder.

Personaly if your looking to cut i would go straight to HARD work on your diet and had MORE cardio ... all the gear will do is help your result but it really comes down to diet

I ate 5-7 reasonably sized meals every day. That was the first time I ever did that. Protein and carb in each one. The last meal or two was protein and green veg.

No one said your body composition wouldnt change on test only??? Just saying a test cycle isnt needed to cut a small portion of ab fat?

this guy has to realize everybody is different and not going to work out the same. as in his post he was given the same info. it seems like he just wants to hear the words yes do it or watevr. man u have to devote time and energy into this forum. wat worked him or him is not gonna work for u. yes any test u run will make u grow and also more muscle will burn fat. thas a given. its not magic, he's doing all this over 2 pts? u need to go over to the nutrition section and read!

I never said you cant get cut on test(I think the type of workout done while on test only will dictate whether you bulk or cut). I'm really just trying to say I wouldnt do test or any AAS to get rid of a small portion of ab fat.

More like type of diet eaten. I don't think that anyone is saying they want to take test to get rid of a small portion of ab fat.

Well, here is the original post:

Keep in mind the main reason I want to run this cycle is to shred a small portion of abdominal belly fat on a deficit while maintaining my current weight
