More effective? I have not seen any studies comparing the two. I know liv52 has additional ingredients compared to milk thistle. I myself have always used milk thistle. You can't go wrong with either!

I also use milk thistle never used the other one but I have no problems or compliants with milk thistle

i havent seen any proven test studies on either. i usually go with liv52

I have used milk thistle on every cycle I have ever done and each time my liver has been perfectly fine. Does it work? Can't really say for sure as I know there is more research to be done, but it helps me mentally and that is what counts for me.
