    Bruising and slight pain.

Hi just wanting to check something.

I did a quad injection 1 week and 5 days ago and while pushing the needle in i felt some pain but nothing too bad. While aspirating i saw no blood so i went for a slow inject but could feel pain while the test was going in. When taking out the needle i also felt a sharp pain and it hurt straight after the shot. I had no lump form, no redness or swelling. The pain did subside slowly over a few days but on day 6 a bruise appeared where i have a natural indentation in the side of my leg, the bruise is still there and is yellow. I can still feel some pain in a small area where the bruise is and slightly above.

Sorry if that's a bit of a ramble, just wanted to get as much detail in as poss. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

    You're fine. Nothing abnormal sounding.

Thanks for replying and easing my mind. I figured it was just a bad shot as all previous shots went really well with no pain,
It did worry me a little that it lasted this long.

You definitely hit a vein and therefore the hematoma and the yellowing in a week. You might have also hit a nerve. It happens. Nothing serious sounds like.
