To my suprise...low test.
Well im pretty much at loss of words, im 26 yo been lifting for 4+ years, and never had a testosterone blood work, until now.
My level is at 273 (348-1197). Well below normal.
I dont really get why im so low, doesnt make sense to me. Ive only done one cycle over a year ago, it was test 600mg/week for 13 weeks. Did legit pct, hcg throughout, clomid, nolva..
And honestly i feel great in the gym and still making great gains, but the main reason i got my test checked was my low libido, which this pretty much explains it...
So i was perscribed Axiron, never heard of it til now, its topical and goes under your arm pit. Im supposed to use 60mg/day and have 2 months supply.
Anyone have any experience with this stuff?? Im curious to hear, does it work?
Or should i just run my own program of hrt? Also if i do run my own hrt, what dose is best? Ive got quite a bit of test laying around.
Also, im about to start another cycle, so im pretty sure its safe to say that i shouldnt worry about PCT??

well... have you considered getting a second test done? an number of factors, including stress, drinking, sickness, not enough sleep, etc can cause low testosterone results
you could have just had an off day.
as far as running you own hrt... it depends on what your long term goals are. have you discussed with your doctor what your long-term options are? is this topical treatment meant to be a permanent solution, or is it somehow supposed to bring your levels back up ?

test is useless with estrodiol, LH, and FSH at least. Ideally you have SHBG, prolactin, and free/bioavailable test too
What time of day was this test done?
Also, self-medication TRT is not a long term solution at all.

Regardless of what im taking, its not going to bring my "natural" levels up...matter afact its going to do the opposite and shut me down. When your body senses 3rd party androgens its shuts its natural production down.
Dont drink, sleep ALOT, never sick, not stressed...my libido has been down for a while now, probably about 8-9 months. Its just really old..thats why i got tested.

did you discuss your options with you doctor?
it seems like that should be your first stop for information... if you're planning on trt then you should prob stop by that end of the board and ask questions there or pm people who are on trt

well i read some info on it... it seem kind of inconvenient to use.... have you considered just asking for a cyp scrip?
from company website
AXIRON can transfer from your body to others. This can happen if other people come into contact with the area where the AXIRON was applied. Signs of puberty that are not expected (for example, pubic hair) have happened in young children who were accidentally exposed to testosterone through skin-to-skin contact with men using topical testosterone products like AXIRON. Women and children should avoid contact with the unwashed or unclothed area where AXIRON has been applied. If a woman or child makes contact with the application area, the contact area on the woman or child should be washed well with soap and water right away.

Those topical gel things are a pain in the A. There's a post where I talk about my experience with TRT and what issues I'm having. I'm around the same level as you and one year older. It is actually a reply to somebody else and has a good back and forth. I've done A lot of blood tests, cortisol tests, bone density scan, mri. Insurance def helps. I get on this site from my phone, hopefully the site can let you search where i've commented. The Title was something like: Trying to get the most out of..... Good luck, Low T @ a young age isn't the end of the world but there are Many Many reasons why you may have it. The MRI revealed mine.

PS: Do Not self TRT. At least until you know for sure why your levels are so low. I'm lucky enough that my doctor didn't screw me up, and my "low T norm" hasn't dropped below that level.

I would avoid going into another cycle until you get your natural testosterone production under control, otherwise you will probably only exacerbate the problem. If I were in your shoes, the first thing I'd begin doing is a PCT all over again. I'd be interested in heavily stimulating gonadal function and have another blood work performed a couple months later. Otherwise, you will be looking at having to stick with HRT for the rest of your life.

Im just going to follow thru with my cycle and hope for the best. I will do a heavy 2 month pct with hcg blast 2 weeks after my last shot, then follow that with clomid and nolva. After another month ill get retested.
This hormonal roller coaster is really effecting my marriage and i just cant seem to get "intimate" with my wife like i want to.
Im at the point where doing a once/week shot of test for the rest of my life is the least of my worries...if it helps the way i feel and makes my wife feel better then its all worth it to me.

I completely agree with the way you're approaching HRT. You should also order some Cialis from AR-R , you may find that to take care of your libido issues.
