First I thinks it's great you have got back to the gym. Now take some time working out and getting your diet in check. IMO you don't need to start any type of cycle. Diet and working out will lose the bf. do a hardcore year at least and see where you are then reevaluate.

These guys are right. Starting a cycle with high BF% puts you at increased risk for side effects like Gyno. Something you really don't want, but that risk can be mitigated. I started my current cycle with a high BF%, but I am taking steps to prevent gyno. I am concerned though, what is going to happen when the cycle ends, and I don't feel like He-man anymore? Will I continue to work out daily?
My situation is a little more complicated though. My decision to start cycle with high BF% has to do with the fact that I have endocrine problems that lower my T level, which I believe is what is causing my increased BF%. In the end it is a personal decision, and you should definitely try to get into a routine before starting.

High bf % is a worry, and also untrained tendons which can lead to major problems for you. If you lift to hard with all that extra strength, your tendons most likely won't be as strong as your muscles and that's a problem you don't want to face. After a solid year of training hard you might be ready, but your body will tell u

Totally agreed,
I jumped the gun and started a cycle a bit early. My BF % was under 15, but I have only trained continuously for about 3 months. Before that I had a lot of shit going on and did not work out well for about 6-8 months. Before that, I worked out very well for over a year.
When I started, I just did not feel ready. Just like stated, my tendons feel a bit weaker than they should for my muscle growth. If I don't watch myself at the gym I am pretty sure I can pop something fairly severe.

I just started my first cycle ever and its straight WINNY. IM ABOUT 5 WEEKS IN SO IM ALMOST FINISHED. TO B HONEST IVE SEEN GREAT RESULTS SO FAR W/ BASICALLY NO SIDE EFFECTS. but keep in mind i trained for a year straight before starting this. i did a dirty bulk naturally and gained 35 pounds. then cut it w/ the winny but my strench, mass, and lean muscle has increased dramatically. so ye it can b done my friend.

I hope no one jumps into a cycle from who's ever advice. But, instead out of their own good judgement and research.
Just like I seen people rep a D-Bol only cycle plenty of times. . . . But if you know anything, you know that is just crap.

It's all great brother, and I'm not knockin ya. The way I see it tho - if the risk is high for injury, then why not do what is necessary to reduce the risks and maximize on the rewards??
On a side note, applause on the gains! I bet it feels good to hear people say ur lookin swole! LoL I even bought a decoy "animal stak" an "m-stak" supplement so I can blame the acne and gains on that product

OP. The advice given for getting your diet in check and training hard for a year is legitimate advice. Do that, for sure.
However, if you are like me and want to get your gear in you ASAP (I trained for longer than a year HARD before I did a cycle) once you have it, you'll need to do other things other than just pin your Sustanon .
1. Get enough Arimidex (or another AI) so that you can take .25mgs (if you choose Arimidex) every other day while on cycle.
2. Make sure you pin your Sustanon every other day and pin .6 ml of it at a time (if your gear is dosed at 250mgs/ml). If anyone jumps in and says you can pin twice a week or whatever, that's true. You CAN, but you will not be taking advantage of all of the properties in Sustanon (short ester test).
3. 18 days after your last shot of Sustanon, start your PCT (post cycle therapy ). This SHOULD consist of Clomid and Nolvadex . If you need dosage info on this, look in the PCT section to figure out what this means... 100/50/50/50 for Clomid and 40/20/20/20 for Nolva. It means for one week you'd take 100mgs/day and for 3 weeks you'd take 50mgs/day.
4. Leave the Var out.
This is the absolute basics of basics and you might need HCG if you suffer from severe testicular atrophy. Everyone is different and a lot of times guys wont need it on the first cycle...
All that being said, hold off for a bit and train hard to build a base. You WILL get a lot stronger on a cycle and your risk of injury is high, especially if you're new to lifting.Last edited by JDBeretta; 05-05-2012 at 01:35 PM.
