45 yr old thoughts on first cycle

new to the forum. first and formost thanks in advance for any advice and feed back

    stats: 45yrs old Male
5'11" weight 195 lbs BF at approx 15 to 17% (Got measured at the gym, not sure how accurate it was)
Training hard 5 to 6 days a week for the last 2 years.
I was way out of shape 2 years ago, got my self on a healthy clean diet, before I started training
I was 230lbs, on my diet i went down to 183 lbs, but made the mistake of not working out when I was on a diet
Since then I have gained 12 lbs of muscle with my top 4 ab muscles starting to take diffinition. I am looking
to put on atleast 10 to 12 lbs and try and keep as much gains as possible after cycle, I know in all the reading back and forth on this forum that my PCT is very important.

    Diet:
my daily intake in food is about 3000 calories per day, some days 3500 calories a day, just hungry some days a bit more.
My diet is pretty clean, no fast foods.

looking to start my first cycle of Test E. for 12 weeks

    weeks 1-12- test E 500 mgs split in 2 Mon/Thurs
weeks 1-12- hcg 250 iu twice a week

    PCT
    Clomid. 50/50/50/50
    Nova. 40/40/20/20

any feed back would be much appreciated, if I have missed any info needed please let me know, and I will
try an answer it as best as possible.

Looks good to me too. I would personally have lab work done before and after to establish a baseline testosterone level before cycle and see how completely you've recovered after pct. At your age it is very possible you could qualify for hormone repla***ent therapy. Not sure if this interests you are not, but once you see how you feel with elevated test levels you might change opinions if you are currently opposed.

I never ran cycles until after I was on hrt. With hrt you never experience the two steps forward, one step back pct routine. Recovery at our age can be more difficult then a younger man according to my doctor. So consider the possibility recovery could be difficult or possibly not 100% after pct. Personally, I wouldn't ever want to not be on hrt. I am 40y/o and feel better then I did at 30. Look better too, although the aches and pains of a manual labor life are starting to show signs.

    Good luck.

Being that you are 45 there are a few things you should look at first. You are at that Magic age. You really should go in and get your Hormone panel done before considering doing a cycle so you have a good baseline. Also IF you happen to be on the low end or lower producing natural testosterone you will qualify for HRT and your insurance will pay for you testosterone. BONUS...

Other than that it looks pretty good but I also agree get an AI and run it throughout.

Thank you all for the advice, I am calling my doctor to schedule an appointment. I think its better
for me at my age to make sure before I start a cycle.

again thank you all for the advice.
