the Joints in my shoulders are starting to hurt. ..
I've been in and out of the gym on different workout programs (depending on what sport i was playing at the time) for years now.
I have a above average diet which consists of lots of veggies and love cooking at home.
now the question is;
would a course of Deka (which i've heard repairs cartilage and such) help me in keeping up my training and reduce the aggravation in my shoulders?
any info would suffice.

There was a recent post on this if you look back a couple days or so... but the conclusion is no it wont... if the damage is done then you need time to rest and heal... decca could be used to prevent damage from its water retention lubricating the joints not to repair the joints

If your shoulders are hurting that bad you need to go to a well known good orthopedic in your area...It's just a guessing game until you ACTUALLY know what the problem is...
And for instance, if it's something like a labrum tear which I have had before...Due to playing baseball all my life and the addition of weights...They can not heal themselves, once a labrum is torn it must be anchored back down to the bone...Things might help the pain a little bit but it's not going to fix the problem. Although, you can successfully make a recovery with physical therapy to make the problem manageable, but the tear will always be there until it is fixed...
Cartilage problems tend to be the worst because they do not get a good blood supply which makes the healing process a bit*hLast edited by calstate23; 07-16-2012 at 06:23 PM.
