How fast can you lose weight and retain muscle?

I know it's kind of a broad question. But, what do you all think from experience? I lost a bit of weight before and it went very fast. I ran a EC stack and lost right around 20 pounds in a month for 2 and a half months, I lost over 40 pounds in that time. That was on a 1500-2k cal a day diet and 45 minutes of cardio 4-6x per week.

Back then I didn't even consider muscle loss. When I was done, I didn't even notice any muscle loss really. My lifts all dropped my about 5Lbs though, so there had to be some.

But, is this a good idea or that is just too much too fast? From what I hear you want to do about 2-3Lbs a week.

Yes, that sounds like too much too fast. Naturally, you can only lose about 1lb per week of FAT. With things like HGH, T3, AAS, etc. you can probably lose an additional 3 or so. 2-3 naturally is a long shot, and if you're losing that much each week, it must be a lot of water and perhaps muscle as well.

This one time I went a whole week where I practically starved myself, like one meal a day for a whole week. I was also going through a lot of stress at the time, and I literally dropped SO much muscle, it was insane. People could visually SEE it. I was 225 lbs at about 15% bodyfat before that one week, and afterwards I was down to 200 at the same bodyfat. It was literally all muscle. I was just going through a bad time in my life and it affected everything.

I am too fat to run test or whatever else on a cycle. I am thinking natural for the first 20 then hit the EC stack and just kick the cardio even harder. Just don't wanna lose muscle, I seem to be keeping fat and muscle just fine. But, I just hope it doesn't try to come off as a package too.

I have, it's fvcking weird not having any carbs. I like my typical low carb diet, it works well.

I usually don't get extreme until I plateau hard.

yeah its weird for the first week or 2 and you feel like crap but then your body adjusts and you feel fine, the carb load can be a burden because you go back to square 1 in a way but i notice i get to flat without the load so i take the pain
