Just turned 25, want to start my first cycle. Advise/feedback wanted??
Hey everyone, been on here for a while researching and only joined last year but never really posted. I didnt want to start one of these threads until I had a good basic knowledge of what I wanted to achieve and I was approaching my plateau with current natural diet and training regime.
Stats:
Age: 25
Height: 5' 11''
Weight: 89Kg
Body Fat 13.2%
Been on a strict low carb, high protein diet for the last month to get into the proper routine as I want to really cut up! I have fat around my stomach and obliques that I want rid of. In my cycle I was thinking of about 3-4ml of Test enanthate for 10-12weeks and maybe some Anavar orals for the first 6-8weeks to help cut me up. I want to stay away from deca and d-bol and if possible as the goal is to really cut up and put on lean muscle with minimal water retention that will last after pct through my diet and sticking to my programme.
Can anyone tell me if I am going down the right path with that? Any advice on alternative first cycle with my goals in mind would be appreciated. I train with a few experienced guys but there goals are different to mine as in they want mass mass and more mass for strongman so Ive turned to this board for some knowledge on people who have gone down the same route

You're not 25 years old, but anyway, get rid of the excess fat first and no need for several compounds on first cycles. You have tons of research left to do, keep reading.

3-4 mL of test? I'm assuming if it's enanthate , it's probably 250mg/mL. No need for more than 500mg/week pinned twice weekly.
You still have quite a bit of research to do but stick with 500mgs/test (typically 2mL) e or c for 12 weeks for your first cycle. You will make significant gains with that... Provided that your diet is check. This is by far the most overlooked piece of the puzzle. At one point i thought mine was in check- it wasnt.
What determines how much you will gain will be your diet and what determines how much of those you keep will be your diet AND pct when you come off.

What is your real age?
You also need to run an ai, and have a planned pct ready before your first pin. You may also want to consider hcg during cycle to help the natty system.

Thanks for your advice man. I was thinking I would get a reaction that 3-4ml might be bit much on first cycle. My diet is good (I think) now, took me a while to get there though as was always going well for a short while and then binge eating junk food.

Here is my diet at the minute and being going well for a month.
Meal 1 Wholmeal Oats with some flaxseeds and muesli
Meal 2 Protein shake with 5-10g of glutamine
Meal 3 Tuna with 4 leaf salad with 2-3 egg whites and wholegrain bread (2 slices, no butter)
PWO Meal; Protein shake/ no glutamine
Meal 5 2-3x chicken fillets and some veg
Meal 6 1 chicken fillet/maybe more or protein shake.
I just boil loads of chicken fillets eery two days and hae them sitting in the fridge to snack on whenever i need them.
Other supplements include 1x multivitamin, 1-2x calcium magnesium and zinc tabs, 1x omega 3 fish capsule and just recently added 1x tea tree extract tabs to help speed up metabolism to my daily intake.
does not vary much from day to day and have been solid on it for the last month with good gains training 4-5 times a week. I just want to take it to the next level now. Slight concern for me is the possiblity of low sperm count or fuking up my endocrine system in my 30's. But I just plan on one cycle and that is it, just to give me a final push?

Is Var(oxy's) not the best oral for cutting down? Minimal sides too? I dont really want to run two cycles, just one so thats why i wanted to run it with the test enan from the get go.

25 now Seriously haha, the thread above that was linked was a made over 2 years ago when i was 22 going on 23 in July.
Its not something I plan on doing tmrw,next week or even a month. But it is time to really start thinking seriously about it for me, I would like to start in sept one I have everything in place. The HCG you mention is interesting to me, I will look futher into that, thanks.

Im typing this from my phone and cant loo back at your post but here are my thoughts.
What are your macros? If you haven't calculated your tdee and you aren't shooting for a certain # of cals per day then I can assure you, it is far from being in check.
Your diet definitely needs some work. On a daily basis you might be taking in 4 protein shakes? Post workout is cool in my opinion, I take two but you don't need more unless it's a casein shake before bed.
The foods you listed make for a seemingly very low calorie diet (1,500 calories maybe). When you are bulking, you want to keep calories over your tdee but still choosing healthy options. Not sure what your plans really are.
Meal 1- add protein from whole eggs and egg whites. I don't see good protein here and next to post work out, this an important time to have quality protein and also so complex carbs.
Meal 5- Casein shake, red meat, or cottage cheese. You want slow digesting proteins to last you throughout the night. 1 piece of chicken or whey is going to be 100-150 cals.
You have some issues with your other meals but I don't want to keep switching back over to look. I'll check this evening.
You have a long way to go. Yes, var is good for cutting but not needed in a first cycle. I doubt you know how expensive it is relative to test.
Ill leave the age battle up to you guys. If you are under 25 and have your mind set in running gear then there's not a whole lot I can do to stop you except list the negative implications to you... Which will go in one ear and out of the other.
If you insist on doing them under the age of 25, at least learn what could happen to your body so that later on you won't be looking back remembering how stupid you were when you were younger.

You said that your diet has been in check for a month. Seriously diet and workout need to be on point or don't waste your time and money on a cycle that the gains are going down the drain afterward. I'd like to see what you look like at 50.

I'm curious as to what you mean by you have plateaued? How long have you been lifting, what are your max lifts? Measurements? And what exactly are you wanting to accomplish? I highly doubt any one plateaus until about 30 and then from truly maxing out their natural ability consistently for years of proper eating and training.
