My test - deca cycle results, is that normal?! (with pics)
1st cycle.
weeks 1-10 test e 350 mg a week (250 mg every 5 days)
weeks 1-8 deca 175 mg a week (100 mg every 4 days)
I had to add deca in a small dose for the joints, my joints are bad as hell.
Stats
Age: 28
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 177 lbs
BF: 15 %
Anyway, what happened is that I have gained 20 lbs in the first 5 weeks (4 lbs/week). The funny thing is that after week 5 my gains stopped, actually I lost around 2-3 lbs and I stopped there. The strength gains are moving up very well and still, I'm in the 9th week now. I have zero side effects, no signs for gyno or any other thing.
Current stats are
Age: 28
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 194 lbs
BF: 14 %
I workout 4 days a week
Chest/abs
Back
off
Arms
Shoulders/legs
off
off
My diet is a 3700 calories plan
350g pro
350g carbs
100g fat
I'm taking Hcg 1000iu every week in the last 3 weeks of the cycle.
My PCT is nolva and clomid, I'm going to run them for 6 weeks, starting 14 days after my last test shot, I'll also take 3 g of Vit c everyday and work out for only 3 days during my PCT.
Important:
I'm a Muslim, and it is Ramadan so fasting for 16 hours and eat for only 8 hours, I use glutamine 5-7 g daily to avoid muscle catabolism during fasting. Also the first 4 weeks of the cycle were before Ramadan. Would that be the reason?
The pics on left are before, the right ones are after.Last edited by MFM; 02-19-2015 at 11:12 AM.

u seem bloated - thats good... but you'll have to see what will hapen few weeks after the cycle...
as far as the weight gain stopping goes - i have never had any gains after the 5th week... i gues its just how your body reacts.
the ramadan thingy could hurt also - you should plan your cycles in future so they dont end up in the middle of your fasting...
anyway, pics are good - keep us updated

your bf is alot higher then 14%
you probably put on alot of water in the first 5 weeks. Yes your weight may stop going up. If you want to keep increasing your lean mass you have to keep increasing calories. I diet needs to evolve.
next time use an ai on cycleIf people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Another question,
how come that the gains stop after the 5th week considered as a normal thing, some people say that they start to notice their gains after the 5th week???

you deffs look bigger, but you also look like 14-16% bf
on another note, did you even work your traps/shoulders? also imo your not working out enough aswell, you should get a good split and youd be able to work certain parts twice a week if not all.Last edited by Bevsta123; 08-13-2012 at 10:40 AM.

Few Questions: How long have you been training for? how long have you been implementing a effective workout routeen and diet? and how many cycles have you done?

Take advantage of that heartrate after pumping iron and hit the treadmill for a stint. Do this at least 3 x a week.
Your bloating and water retention are masking any gains quite well.... 20 lbs is a lot and I cant see it..
Follow up on this post after pct

No offence man but you gains were fairly terrible considering the compunds used. Yóu just look a bit puffier noew I don't know why you would even bother cycling if you can't eat for 16 hours out of the day, seems pretty pointless. Did you have a diet in place before you started? How long were you training for before the cycle?
To be blunt you should really sort out your diet and training before ever considering another cycle

OP i suggest u go to the diet section and post ur current diet. IMO u should have been cutting natty before considering that cycle.
precycle pic looks around 18%(ish)
postcycle/midcycle pic 20%(ish)

If you are fairly new to weight training, the work week for me that has been working and keeping me working the hardest is:
Legs
Back/Biceps
Shoulders
Triceps/chest
off
Full body/light weights/moderate reps/short workout
off
I am not an expert, but I am kind of new to weight training to build. I feel that working these groups together keeps me from exhausting other muscle groups that have yet or have already been worked for the week. And I would eat 24hrs a day regardless, as AAS is frowned upon anyways by most religions and laws(I wont tell). But in all seriousness, I know you gotta do what you gotta do. But listen to the guys about proper diet, as it will not only help your overall look, but your overall cycle as well. Good luck with everything.

Op, as stated by many above. Add in the cardio and hit the nutrition and workout sections. Proper training and nutrition are everything here. If is was only a matter of AAS then all of us would look like the pro's. Time-education-nutrition-training. Live it and you'll get there.
