Eating disorders - anyone else been through bullimia nervosa?
As I have recently recovered from BN, after it took almost a year of my life from me, I have been noticing some really frustrating weight gain and stomach shape. Everything I can find for support is, for the most part, about sedentary women. I've been in the gym 5-8x/week since mid 2010, so I am in great health and have amazing stamina and strength, but I look like shit at the moment. My b.f. is skyrocketing; No matter how far I cut my diet, how much cardio i do, etc, my b.f. either stays stagnant or goes up. (I use hydrostatic weighing at the college I go to, as well as a bathroom scale for day to day reference)
I am wondering if anyone else has recovered from bullimia and has any information to share. From what I read, the physical recovery process is like 1-6 months, depending on how much damage you caused. I'm probably looking at closer to six months, but I'm trying to be optimistic.
Also --
ECA stack is ineffective except as a stimulant. Ordered clen , thinking about trying it...but it seems like a waste of time if my body is just going to fight me anyway. I've seen some info on low t3 levels due to the eating disorder and thats a part of the recovery process, so maybe that's an avenue I could try?

Sorry, forgot to mention this. As of today, it's been 6 weeks since my last purge.

Hi JT! Wishing you the best and congrats on your recovery in process! =)
Now, A lot of what I am reading here sounds a little scary bro. I don't want to play armchair psychologist, but I would like to really encourage you to hit the nutrition section. I know it's hard to eat more in an effort to look better but incredibly it really does work that way. It seems counter to everything the media preaches about being thin and eating light etc. That's ALL hogwash, or brainwash actually lol. Take a break for a minute. Read a little about you daily caloric needs and proper training. It's such a big topic I wouldn't even attempt to go into it all here but I will say this. Your body needs a break I think. Just eat healthy and exercise smart for a few months ( I know those terms are vague and subjective but head to the nutrition section ). I would also encourage you to skip the clen /T3 etc etc for a bit.
Best of luck!
