what will my health insurance think?? and do?

    Sup Guys,

I want to get blood done. Ive always got blood done, before cycles with time on=time off + pct and thats fine,

Anyways, what happens if i get blood done ON cycle from my General Practictioner or family doctor if I'm insured through work? its Blue Cross.

Or if I'm forced to get blood done, say physical exam or something.

Will insurance rate go up? will i get kicked out of insurance? does anybody know how doctor and more importantly insurance will react?

You could always pay cash instead of going through insurance.

They can't do anything. Don't worry they can't drop u. Your doctor will most likely give u shit though when he sees how off ur levels will probably be. Getting blood work done is a good thing.

Just remember that file will follow you everywhere
If you apply for life insurance different health insurance
It's a real pain in the ass

Yes. I recently was denied a health insurance policy because my medical record showed "steroid use ". It was referring to TRT therapy but the insurance company denied the policy request without any further questions. Ridiculous but it happens.

Yes this happens a lot. I don't know why. If I said I smoked something like cigarettes everyday then they would give me life insurance. Doesn't make sense

personally, i would wait till I'm sure my test levels are fairly stable.

if you need to get blood panels, get the script off the internet, and have it all done off line so it is not reported.

did you know that there are medical data bases similar to credit reports? I don't have all the details, and never seen, but pretty sure the insurance companies use them. I don't understand how this could be with the privacy laws (HIPPA, for example).

If I am in error, some one please correct me. I was told this several years ago from someone i trusted.

Back in 1994 when I first went to my endo for TRT I told him about my AAS use. I remember he wrote it in my file as "used anabolics (anadrol )". Since then I have worked at several different large companies and have never once been asked about it nor had any problems with insurance. I have had to bring my old file to a new doc for the TRT script and have looked in the file so I know it's there. I recently moved back relatively close to my old endo and travel to see him. I'm not saying you won't have an issue only that I have never had any problems getting insurance coverage. Maybe the size of the company makes a difference.....don't know.

I am not familiar with your area but here we have a couple of independent labs that will do blood work with no Dr prescription. I just pay cash and dont use my insurance. Its private and discrete.
