does anyone have natural low estrogen ?? please help
hey guys
I havent been feeling well at all the last 3 to 4 years, and many years before that i always felt that there is something wrong with my body.
to make a long story short, i ended up with severe depression with a LOT of weird physical symptoms like low blood pressure aftereating, low libido, aching and cracking joints, shattering teeth, bone pain, mood swings, gastrointestinal problems, dopamine excess and high cortisol.
i took antidepressants and they eased things up, but i still didn't feel ''right''.
I remember everytime i took HCG i got this increased energy and ALL these symptoms went away completely especially if i use large doses, i get this tremendous increase in mood, energy, strength AND muscle size i start to build muscle like crazy.
I did testosterone tests my total test is 1039 ng/dl so its really high i do NOT have low test i did the test several times and it always came back above normal the high normal being about 800 ng/dl on the lab range, i did thyroid it is also high normal, my prolactin is above normal a little bit and thats before i took the antidepressants.
I am starting to think that i may have naturally low estrogen, anybody have that? everytime i take something that increase estrogen like HCG i HEAL completely, when it wears off i return to my previous state.
HELP PLZZZZZ cs i am feeling like crap all the time.Last edited by SilverTest; 09-07-2012 at 03:55 AM.

Have you has your E2 checked or are we guessing here? It needs to be checked with a sensitive estrogen assay which is specific to males. Estrogen plays a large part in sexuality, spermatogenesis, libido, joints, etc. High E or low E can both cause similar side effects. My own E level runs steadily low at 16. I purposely bumped up my T (I'm a TRT-er. You've got enough of your own) level at the same time adding in vit D3 as well as stinging nettle. It raised my D from 25 to 80 in three months and brought my E to 26. Now we'll see if it holds there as I've got BW due in today actually. Also started some peptides (6 & Mod) which can increase IGF1 and free T and result in an increased E also. So, my experiment is on-going.
High prolactin can be an issue and if it continues to run high it should be investigated further (mri.) Dopamine = arousal and Prolactin = the good feelings after sex. Caveat is that high levels of prolactin can reduce desire. Cabergoline may help here as it will reduce your prolactin level at low doses. Maybe .25 x 2 per week is about all that's needed. Do some research on Caber and you'll like what you see. Definitly a sexual aid.
But seriously your first step is complete BW with a competent doctor, IMO.

hey kel thanks man great reply, ya i think i need to do bloodwork, one thing worth mentioning though is that when i did BW for total test which came back as 1039 ng/dl, i also did for estrogen and it was 25, isn't that a little bit low estrogen for that kind of testosterone level, shouldn't be higher? my point is that there should be some kind of ratio between test and E2.

And that was a sensitive assay I'm assuming? If so LEF recommends to maintain it between 20-30 but it should be based on how you feel, erection quality, etc., not necessarily just a number. Regarding the correlation between T and E, we're talking endogenous T levels here so your body searches for and finds homeostasis, it's natural levels. Yours is what it is and I'd be happy with it. Now, when you supplement with exogenous T it will adapt to the new, higher levels and rise. Hence the reason most have to use an AI. Curious what your shbg level is if you happen to know. Betting it's low.
