And yeah.. Not smart since your largest veins and arteries run trough that location but a friend of mine suggested we try foreign spots for the hell of it. He shot lat Lmfao. But I did research and some People said they've done it plenty a time and never had a problem. I took all precautionary measures including actually disinfection with a disinfectant for pre-intravenous raping.

A lot of possibilities. Dirty gear, skin core trapped in the needle and pushed into muscle, ruptured blood vessel(s), too much gear in one injection.

I've reused the gear since, with no problems but it's possible that the gear was still the problem. I'll likely autoclave it from now on.

I doubt it was a skin core because I'm using 25g, 1 inch to inject so that's small enough to avoid most skin cores.

I didn't run much of a fever if at all but the muscle hardened and I lost almost all my ROM in the quad. No detectable abscess on ultrasound and all tissue and large vessels were intact.

Looks like cellulitis.

That really sucks.. Intravenous? I still have a few vials left over of my medication. Twisted nurse down here have me extra and said to just go get sterile water, mix, and inject small amount in the muscle if you fear an infection may be coming on. Mine can be used IV or IM.

Yes. I happens but hopefully with the right sterile procedures it's very rare. I know a few juice heads who keep antibiotics on hand. Infections are rare and some of these guys have done many many cycles but at the first sign of infection, they don't waste anytime treating it.

If handled correctly and with sterile products, infections should be infrequent.

Yeah it was my second infection but the first was from a VERY bad batch of T400... Someone stole it from my locker at the gym and I found out who it was from the lump the size of a golf ball on his shoulder. karma

Every time i pin i tell myself this ones going to be different and im going to drive it home without fear of nerve twitches like a man but i always end up doing the same old slow motion pin with the please dont hit a nerve prayer, it gets easier as your body gets use to getting stabbed on a daily basis!! thats the last time i do prop!!!

I only do that with slin pins (duh). I've tried using the same needle to draw and pin with a 22g several times in the past, but the stopper dulled it enough that I had to really push just to get it to break the skin on my glute. Obviously, this caused unneeded pain and sweating. **** that...
