quick stats:
24 years
5'10
187 pounds
12% bf
planning a cycle of Test E 450/week, got AI and PCT down that's not what I'm worried about at the moment
So basically i had hoped to be at 10% bf by this time, i thought i almost was but i got it officially measured and its at 12% not 10, and it shows. I'm not as cut as I'd like to be starting this cycle, as i don't want to get much higher BF because my fat really has a tendency to accumulate around my pecs, and i know i would be bound to gain at least 1 or 2 percent on cycle. I would just say to hell with it and cut for another couple weeks then start the cycle, but I'm going on a month long trip with family and friends in exactly 12 weeks and 3 days from now, which i really can't be pinning myself on, and i also really don't want to wait till i get back from that.
My question really is, would it be sound to start this cycle normally, and then 2 weeks in ( as opposed to at the start because I just came off 2 weeks of cycling clen) take a 2 week hard cutting period in which i would up cardio to 4x a week high intensity, do a pyramiding cycle of clen, and go very low carbs 5 days a week with a ~600 Cal deficit, then last 2 days of the week re-feed.
I haven't heard of anyone doing this, and I know i would be sacrificing some gains from the cycle, but is there any real reason why this would be a terrible idea? If it is, is there any way i can do this cycle and end with a lower or equal BF than i started with? My diet will be very clean the entire time.
On a side note, i would be very carefully monitoring my blood pressure the entire time, especially while on clen also and would take necessary steps if it got too high.
