    Sub-q VS IM

I am not a fan of pinning. I switched hrt from im to sub q a few months ago and I notice no negatives changes. Its much easier to pin now.

    So a couple of questions.

Could you pin other compounds sub q?

If you wanted to pin a larger dosage of test sub q what would be the down side if any?

I really wanted to do a primo cycle along with bumping up my test for the summer but I just dont see myself being able to handle all the pinning.

If you wanted to pin a larger dosage of test sub q what would be the down side if any? lumps, absorption. Most don't go over around 60mg or so per injection SQ. Some do just fine. Up to the individual and you can always use multiple locations.

Yeah you can. If lean you can use smaller needles. Maybe 27ga 1/2" for both delts and SQ (I do) but I would not go below 1" for glutes. Or, just do a long ester and pin twice per week.

    Bold above...

Kel beat me too it! I was going to say that I read a thread this week that compared SubQ and IM injections for HRT. I think the overall results were that although both achieved stable blood levels, the SubQ levels were significantly lower.

If you're already looking at that other thread though, I wont bother searching/linking too it!

Interesting read. Keep in mind many noteworthy docs in the TRT world recommend SQ to avoid thousands of holes in muscle over the years. Personally I just use it as part of a rotation between injection sites.

I honestly have no problems with a slightly lower test levels. When I am at tippy top of normal range I really start to have a wandering eye which is not good for my relationship....lol

Kel got you covered. I'll add that Primo dosages that work would be too much for SubQ.
