    Blood Transfusions good idea intra workout?

    aka "blood doping" which generally involves extracting your own blood perhaps on a rest day and re-infusing that blood pre-workout or better yet in between sets. This will help with much faster recovery, an increase in oxygen carrying red blood cells, ability to workout longer/ harder as well as better pumps at the gym.

    Best of all, it's legal, safe and FREE!

    But it's gonna be a bit tricky to pull it off at a public gym I suppose.

    A more efficient method would be injecting Erythropoietin subQ. But I've only heard of endurance athletes using it. Don't bodybuilders too benefits from increased vascularization and blood oxygen levels??

    Bro you got it all wrong.
    It's not as simple as just taking your blood out and putting it back in.
    You have to centrifuge your blood (about 4pt worth) to separate the RBC from the plasma. Once you have the RBC separated you refrigerate for about 30 days. By the end of 30 days your blood should be back to normal, you take in your RBC and your up about 20% on your RBC count.
    This isn't something you would do post workout, in fact you would benefit from it pre workout and for a few weeks after until your RBC levels level back out.
    Taking it RIGHT before or RIGHT after won't be any more beneficial than taking it the day before.
