    Plastic Vials

    Wazzup my brothas and sistas!!!

So my reliable source recently switched from glass to plastic. Notice the old glass to new plastic. Ive read in a few threads chems not good in plastic. Should I be worried??? Source said glass is becoming a custom's issue

I wouldn't trust it at all!
If ethyl oleate can melt a syringe I would hate to see what it does to a plastic vial
I'm not sure they will be as sterile either due to heat and pressure needed for autoclaving

Aren't lab names allowed. There's a section of the forum dedicated to labs?

    1) Lab names are fine. You just can't discuss sources.

    2) I wouldn't worry about the vials being made of plastic. Certain plastics are chem resistant (like polypropylene) and they would use one that is, but I doubt BD even uses EO in any of their stuff.
Plenty of injectable drugs come in plastic vials and bags (bac water, lidocaine, etc).
However, I would still refilter into a sterile glass vial to ensure that you aren't pinning some cloudy, dirty garbage.
