Currently inj 2ml on the gluts (sust and deca ) mixed. I want to inject the same mixed.

You may be ok with using 5/8 if you are ripped. I think you would be better using the 1.25" IMO. I use 22 ga 1.5" for glutes and quads.

The smaller needle should be fine. It will also be far more comfortable and should reduce the risk of a sore injection area. A lot of guys end up pretty sore with leg shots when using larger pins, and the larger ones are often unnecessary. You do not have to be ripped to the bone to successfully use a 5/8" needle in your thighs.

I've used both. 5/8 is a lot less painful but I don't feel the injection is as deep as it should be. 1 inch is plenty. Quads are hit or miss. Some come off cleanly, others cause a lot of pain. Blends (like Sust) are generally going to cause more PIP.

I have always pinned with 23g in my quad...when I had a virgin muscle the pain felt like death...limping around everywhere.

Now I pin and stand up and it doesn't even feel like I pinned myself. No pain at all.

pip updates: well, after 2days my leg is out of order, I walk like a pirate with a wood leg...however, I kind of like it, I mean I won't train legs anysoon but I feel like my leg is handling better the juice than my bump did. It only has to get use to it. I will definetly pin thighs again.

I pin quads all the time but use a 1" long 25 gauge pin. I haven't tried a 5/8" but that seems pretty short for an IM injection.

I would have never done 5/8" if it was'nt for a friend using them before, thats all they had at the pharmacy so i decided to try it, and it's fine as long as your bf is'nt high.

Ever have a lump appear at the injection site from oil under your skin?

Yes you can, along with other gearbut depending on how much total you use you may have to pin more then one. And I split the dosage up since you use a smaller syringe. 1 ml TB is usually the biggest. I tried SubQ for 6 weeks, 2 x week, but only needed one pin since I am on a low TRT dose. Cyp and B12, I didn't like it, had a bit of a lump and the pip was more than I liked, so I was having pip on both sides since I was doing 2x week. I went back to IM.

Also, I pinned my thing( haha , jk) my thigh the other day to move the location around. Ouch, PIP for days after....used 23g, 1" Just goty my 27g, gonna try that in Glutes and thigh.
