I see many less experienced members (and flat out clueless fools) gobbling up a thread as well. I don't like to see a bunch of "advice" after an experienced member has legitimately asked for a history, etc. first. What really irks me is advice given by guys who may mean well, but really only THINK they know what they're talking about. I'm not a fresh n00b anymore, but I still have WAY more questions than answers. Even if I do know an answer, I think it's often best to defer to someone who likely knows the answer as well, but has a LOT more experience and the wider perspective that goes with it.
I don't think there are easy solutions, other than to keep threads like this going. Keep it to yourself unless you REALLY DO know, and have the history and experience to back it.

Oh, and it kinda strikes me odd when someone who hasn't been here as long as me, and hasn't posted nearly as much starts offering me advice on a Q. I've posted. Especially when I know it's not correct! LOL!

Sometimes there are the experienced newbies but few and far between. However they really should be here a while (??) and make themselves known a bit so they get some respect in so far as their experience. I didn't say grapes for a while, (short while) and I speak of my experience of hands on. Now some of my knowledge has been recent but still like crashing my E2 and the experience of being successful in bringing my E2 down, I now have experience both sides. That's just one example. But like diet I say nothing because I'm not in the know so I tell them to go where there is that knowledge and good info. ...crazy mike

Stop bumping this thread... or at least practice what you preach.

I'm new here, so my opinion carries little if any weight (ha ha, "carries weight" on a site about cycles). But it's nice to see some people take the time to get to understand the individual and their level of experience they may have with the gym and physical/gear routines. There is no "one size fits all" approach: a guy I know has been instrumental in getting me active, but would never assume that what works for him (twenty years of physical fitness experience) would work for me (3 months of physical fitness experience).
It's great to hear different ideas and perspectives, but only if those ideas and perspectives are based on the individual asking the question and not the personal experience of the person giving the advice. An example to a lesser degree would be me (a 35-year-old caffeine fiend) telling a 10-year-old that slamming down 5 energy drinks a day is okay. It may be for me, since I have built a high caffeine tolerance, but not for someone that young. So why tell another person what they should swallow or shoot without knowing everything about them first?
It's great people on this site want to help, but given the subject material, it needs to be done in a respectful, professional, and informed way.
But that's just my opinion, what do I know?

On a side note, what does this "bump" stuff mean? I always see it but I have no idea what it means. <insert comments about me being a "noob" or whatever new internet slang exists for someone who lives in the real world here>
