    Ouch

Was dieting, exercising and taking T3 (100mcg).... Lost 10 pounds and plateaued.

Went off the T3 and did not like how my body handled it....

I have read both that you are supposed to taper off, and that it is not necessary....

Can I get a definitive answer?

Also - how long should I be off before adding it to my daily schedule?

    Thanks

There is no need to taper off. There is no time limitations with T3. Use it until you're pleased. Your plateau has to do with something else. Not T3.

    hmmm...

thanks.... days 1-3 i was off it, i was hot constantly, then cold and my hands shook.
thought maybe I was supposed to taper it, and wondered how long it would last... 4 days actually.

The entire bottle lasted 4 days? You sure you're dosing this stuff right?

no I was taking 100mcg per day (in the am) for about 3 weeks when I noticed my weight loss had stopped.

I then figured I had plateaued, so I went off of it.

    eating 1600-1800 cals per day

    breakfast is a protein shake
    130 cal fiber bar
    lunch - under 400 cals
    dinner - under 500 cals
    yogurt - 90 cals

almost no pasta (we use spaghetti squash instead), only whole wheat bread... almost no processed stuff (occasional PB&J)

    pretty much it..

odd thing is now that I am off the T3, there is still no change in weight. yo-yo a pound or so but no up tic in weight.

I did not want to increase the T3.... That seemed a little risky to me... though i see people saying that they are taking 150 - 175 mcg per day....

My "sweet spot" is 80mcg a day. When I bump up to 100+ I'm always hungry and can't stop eating. Kinda defeats the purpose of the T3.

If you hit a plateau at 1600-1800 calories after losing 10 lbs you need to lower your calorie intake. Which can be damn tough to do. Or up your calorie use. IE cardio. You also have to watch out for "bounce back" if you used T3 to get yourself into a calorie deficit, keep your diet the same and come off, you're going to add weight. AKA bounce back.

This is why I say only get on T3 or Clen when you've gone as low as you can naturally.

I wouldn't think t3 would stimulate appetite, but I may be wrong.

It doesn't necessarily stimulate appetite. It ups your metabolism so you burn through your food faster leaving you hungry more often. Is the simple explanation

When running 120 I could eat a planned meal and my stomach would be growling 30 minutes after. I usually really good at staving off cravings but not when 100mcg +.
