    DHT and baldness

I am just curious, is it DHT that causes you to go bald. I am asking because my dad, uncles, and etc are all bald on my dad's side of the family. However my mom's side of the family, my grandfather and uncles all got full head of hair.

What can I do to reverse or possibly catch this ahead of time. As I was reading testosterone can speed up the baldness patterns...

Is there a way to suppress this out, so it will not happen?

When getting a blood test, what hormones should I pay attention to?

Look into DHT and the 5 Alpha Reductase Enzyme. You'll find your answers.

Basically, if you're prone to it just say good by to your hair.....

I am going to ask my doctor about this, but does this happen or can it happen with then like 6-8 weeks of taking testosterone . Like where I just start going bald or does it take a long time. Just basically speeds up the process of baldness?

I been taking test for about ~4 weeks now and my hair look the same. I have always had thin hair though since I been a little kid. My moms side of family has all full head of hair uncles, grandfather, and etc..
