Come on guys, this is the internet. We're all benching 700lbs for reps, right?

Unless you're a competitive powerlifter and at a competition, your bench/squat/deadlift numbers don't mean shit anyways. I really don't see the point in boasting about how much we can lift, it's kind of juvenile I think.

I look at it like this, we all start at different points and have different genetics and other obstacles to overcome. I just care about either lifting 5 more lbs this time or 1 more rep than last time (or both). Who the fvck cares how much you can do? It's all about how hard you're willing to work to get to the next level.

I think it's more impressive to see the scrawny kid give it his all every training day in the gym and work on his diet than it is for someone to just boast about pushing a lot of weight around. But that's just me.

    Ok, I'll have a go

    Bench - 450lbs
    Squat - 220lbs
    Deadlift - 680lbs

All raw mind you, but I can't get videos because my gym won't allow it and there's nobody there when I train who can verify it.
Those are some big numbers. Especially your deadlifts... Wow. May I ask why your squat number isn't higher?

Because I'm full of shit mate and there's quite a bit of embellishment, like most others. That was kinda my point but sarcasm doesn't often come over well in the written word. Well done for spotting though

    195lbs 10%(ish) bf
    bench: 345lb x 1
squat: 515 x 5 (smith machine, freeweight 465 cant remember reps, maybe 3)
    dead: 415 x 3

on TRT never cycled. would like to get 405 on bench and would also like to bring up dead. i think part of my prob with deads is technique as i taught myself and have no technique (LOL) other than making sure i keep my head and eyes up and back straight. could prob use some solid instruction.

I agree with everything you said. I lift weight for my personal appearance with hopes of someday competing in a bb show... doubtful but it keeps me motivated. Unless you're a competitor or are over compensating for something else, you don't really talk about how much you lift - I don't unless I'm asked.
