Bonus aspirating

I was taking my TRT dose of test prop at 40mg today in my left tricep, when I aspirated and got this (below).

My first instinct was that it was an infection of some kind because of the color. However, I've had no pain, redness or swelling in that area at all. I also had bloodwork recently and nothing was off as far as WBC or anything else.

I did a little googling and what it sounds like is test I previously injected in that area and it hasn't dispersed yet. Wanted to get some other opinions.

I inject EOD and rotate between delts, tris, bis, lats, traps and quads. However, last week I did delts, bis and tris, then went back to delts, bis and now first tri (hope that makes sense). But it's still been over a week since I injected there last.

And you only injected .4ml oil in that site over a week ago?

Without seeing the infected area and based on the liquified tissue discharge in your syringe, sounds like a sterile IM abscess as Jimmy suggested. Antibiotics alone are often ineffective. The liquified tissue will need to be drained by a physician. DO NOT attempt to clear the abscess on your own.

Gotcha. So how would one go about getting this done? Regular GP doctor or specialist? I always hear not to say what it was from because of that going on one's medical record.

Also, since there is no lump or distinct physical appearance, how will they know where to do the draining?

Most GPs should be able to handle it as an in office procedure. Sometimes patients will be referred to surgeons but that's generally unnecessary.

Schedule a visit and tell them you've had mild pain and localized swelling. Say as little as possible and let doc assess. Often docs will figure it out. Abscesses are generally caused by poor absorption of drugs (sterile abscess) or introduction of bacteria (e.g. staph infection) under skin (septic abscess).

I'll make an appt. tomorrow. So do you think this is due to poor injection or is it the test prop I am injecting (UGL)? I'm concerned because how will I know if I don't have more of these abscesses since I have used so many sites? There aren't lumps or swelling.

That's what strange. I haven't had any pain, swelling or warmth in that area (I can't tell if I have had redness in the area because of tattoos). The only reason I found it was because of aspirating during today's injection.

After injecting this test prop, the area gets a little sore about 12 hours post injection and then subsides shortly after that (no swelling or pain). I was always under the impression that this was because of the prop ester.

wait a day and see if it worsens. if the collection of fluid/pus is small, you may cause more problems digging for it than simply leaving it alone.

I've never had issues with prop. It's possible your prop may be contaminated if new problems arise.

As AD suggests, it should be ok to wait another 24-48 hours. It may be clearing on its own.

I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not sure what to look for. Other than the junk I aspirated, there's no sign or symptom of there being a problem. No physical pain or inflammation nor any fever or chills that would warrant a problem.

As much as I hate posting pics because of my tattoos, I'm going to post one of my tricep. My arm is bent and relaxed so if there were any lumps or abnormalities, one could see them. I inject into the outer head.

I'm prescribed TRT with Cyp. I inject EOD to minimize aromatization, cause even low dose AIs drops estrogen in the dirt. I finished a test prop and npp cycle about 6 weeks ago and figured I'd continue with the rest of the test prop I have before going back to my prescription.

i think its safe to monitor one or two more days. if you feel the same as now, like completely normal, then leave it alone.

No problem. Keep us updated so we know if it heals properly. The major hallmarks of infection don't seem to be there so that's reassuring. Hopefully it continues to improve!
