    Hidden Abscess questions

Really didnt want to start a thread but had too, Could you guys tell me if they are anything to worry about? pretty sure I have one in my left glute as it is light pink in color, around 3-4 inches around and feeling warm and numb to the touch. I also feel sort of a pocket there, like its just fluid. All being not a big pocket, just like you would feel a waterbed kinda squishy feel. Again its a very small pocket seems to run horizontally. It is painful also and the pain has spread up into my lower back area. The pip in my right glute was gone after 3 days, its been 5 days for the left one and im concerned. I very rarely inject in left, never really ran over 1 shot a week. Should I stop injecting in the left glute now that there is a possible "Hidden abscess" there? I wouldn't want to puncture into it and set up an infection inside of my body where it cannot get out, that would seem like a problem being deep under the skin like that if it was to set up an infection.

I just looked at it again today, the pinkness seems to have resided some, more of a pastel pink now but still tender and still just feels different than any other inject ive had. Its been 5 days also. LIke I said right glute was fine after three days, always do the same procedure. The only thing that might get me here is that when I drew up the fluid with my 22 g and changed over to the 23 to inject was I noticed a tiny particle floating around but it settled to the bottom and I didn't inject all the oil so I know it didn't make through the needle at least I don't think but I didn't confirm it. If it did get injected im sure that foreign material is definitely whats aggravating my glute. I reuse the same 22 g also to draw up oil, maybe that's a mistake too.

Bottom line, if it is infected slightly and it is a puss pocket under my skin how long will it take to go away or will it on its on? I cant go to the doc with this and unless it gets to the point of life threating im not going to. Right now it seems stable enough the pain is low to moderate and it may actually be getting better. Im wondering if I should just inject 2 ccs of oil in my right glute only now.

Just confirmed material was not injected it was stuck to the syringe so that's not the problem.

A sterile abscess isn't an infection per sé...... It's more like the oil that you injected didn't fully absorb.

If you feel a lump in there..... The compound could have crystallized. In this case it's not an abscess..... It'll feel warm, look reddish, be sore to touch. A cold pack for 15 minute intervals helps.

Either way..... I'd hold off injecting there for a bit. Give it time to return to normal.

ok thanks haz, my last cycle I had no damn problems whatsoever. I injected once a week same spot. This time, twice a week, Mon and Thurs..Monday being right glute and thurs being left glute. I pray to God!! that it is just irritated and not infected. If I get infection that will be the end of me im sure. Ive already missed Mondays pin, trying for Thursday now. Do you thnk I could handle 2 cc's of test e 300 at once, or just continued with 2 pins 300mg each with another injection site?

I have never pinned quads before either, always been scared of nerves and veins.
This is domestic UGL, with high BA..i expected some pain, but the pink patch has me worried. I have no achy feeling, no tired feeling, and no fever than I can tell. I really don't feel as im infected, lets hope not.

You really need to have more pin sites. You are causing a lot of irritation to one location.

I'm not trying to argue with Haz but I would suggest the opposite approach. I would use a heat pad instead of a cold pack. Warming the oil will help the absorption rate as where utilizing a cold pack could increase the risk of crystallization is you indeed have a pocket of AAS that has not absorbed.

ok lunk, thanks ill try that. I am also going to try to heat the gear up next time. Most of my redness is gone today but main its still tender as hell without any pain meds. For some reason I think I just didn't make it in deep enough to the muscle, usually inject on the upper side glute, but my left side is harder to hit the target being right handed...I might have got to high with it who knows, I just wish the shit would go away.

I do need more pin sites, but I have only pinned left once and right once. What is the next suggestion quad or delt and should I half/half the does there?

I prefer quads (most do not) and delts as well.

I've done the whole heating pad thing and it's never helped. So while searching this stuff in punned and other medical sites..... I found something about local site crystallization and they recommended a cold pack in 15 minute intervals.

    I prefer:

    Triceps
    Chest
    Delts

Glutes burn every time. And so do quads
