A few questions from someone looking to do his first cutting cycle

Hey guys i will try and explain myself. I have been training for 3 years now, at the start of the year, i had something hit me pretty hard and i went through a bout of depression. I turned to food and put on about 25KG in the space of 6 months (.....i know right). Anyway i am now sitting at a whopping 26%bf up from my original 12%. I went from training 5 days a week to 2-3 and because of where i was at before, i am extremely embarrassed of my current physique. I've now got my head in a good place and have lost a little weight due to my improving diet, but i'm going to need some help if i want to get back into shape before summer begins.

I was looking at Var and Clen , but i need advice on how i should use these together. I'm 24 years old, 182cm and currently 115kg. I'm not turning to these because i want to look amazing, i just want to feel okay with myself again, as soon as possible.

    Lukeboy,

First thing, sorry about your depression stage. I know exactly how miserable life can be during depression.

I'd like to congratulate you on your decision to become healthy. 26% is not terrible, although I understand how it can affect your mentality coming from 12%. My depression led me to a whopping 36%! It takes time to recover.

The only concern I have for you is the ending results from running such compounds at your current body fat status. Visually, you won't see any results. I did it, and it was quite a mistake. You see, anavar is suppressive to your HPTA (explained here). So running any oral steroid without testosterone will result in issues such as lethargy. Your efforts would be hindered and in my case, rendered useless. If you decided to go with testosterone, you'd still be facing high risks. Higher body fat also comes with more aromatase enzymes. This would prove that estrogen management is quite cumbersome. A host of concerns come along with high estrogen in men. Furthermore; Clenbuterol is not a wise compound to use at high body fat for cardiovascular risks.

My recommendation to you is that you have your diet evaluated by a professional. The good news is, we have experienced professionals here on this forum. So it's in your best interest to take advantage of their knowledge and allow them to help you, as they did for me. Once you reach an acceptable body fat percentage, you'll be ready to use some compounds to give you an edge. The folks that can help with your diet can be found in the nutrition section.

Once you get started, you can try some over the counter, safe products that can be used at higher body fat percentages. Myself and quite a few members have had great success with a simple 3 supplement stack. You can view the thread here. The purpose of this stack is to safely aid in fat loss alongside a proper nutritional plan, in a safe manner.

I hope you take my advice. Best of luck to you.
