Listen to doctor or not?
So I've been burning up brain cells trying to study and understand everything there is when it comes to cycling. It can just be overwhelming, I've even been testing myself on each individual gear and what it does, side effects and gear that do/don't complement them. I'm over 35, 6'2, 215 and around 17ish% bf.
Anyway, the supplier called today and when I went to meet him, it was actually him and a doctor who gave a baseline fitness test and took blood. I personally think this is awesome and I'd rather know if my body is ready or not. My problem is that I've read over and over to never trust your "supplier" in regards to recommending your cycle. I'd say my case is definitely not the norm but I thought I'd get some opinions anyway. They (doc and supplier) are taking the baseline to tailor a workout routine to my weaknesses.
Thoughts/Opinions

Interesting. A doctor that is willing to throw his license and career away.
What's your training experience?~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

I mean a doctor, a real doctor. I was thinking this was a very rare circumstance which is why I asked for opinions. Everything I've read says to never let your "supplier" lay our your cycle for you as they don't have your best interests at heart. It appears that I have the complete opposite in my case. Without a proper blood test and a fitness test the dr would have said no-way and the supplier would not give me the gear. Just wondering what the thoughts/opinions were. Anyone ever heard of this, can anyone think of anything I'm missing? I'll know next week what he recommends for a first cycle and I'll post it here of course.
Training experience is extensive, boxer for many years along with extensive military career.

So you don't actually know these people? You contacted a supplier/source, and suddenly you're connected with a doctor that will help you make decisions on cycles based on blood levels? Where are you being tested, blood drawn?

Lol no pat down! It's sort of a long story but it's completely legit. The "supplier" is a known body builder and has been a family friend for many many years. He normally does not sell heat but I'm a special circumstance with a good reason for cycling.
Glad to see I may has struck Gear Gold!

What a strange tale...hope your supplier is a REALLY good friend of yours that you trust because all of this shit sounds highly unusual.

We'll know soon enough, hoping for the best here. I do find I funny that a guy with the screen name "money talks" is a nay sayer. I'd also guess that I'm paying enough monthly for a very nice car.
The other thing is our business are intertwined so screwing me would not only crush his business but do virtually nothing to me.

so you went to meet your "supplier" in a quiet back alley. he brought another guy who claimed to be a "doctor". he then whipped out a few needles and syringes and proceeded to draw your blood there and then. gave you a full physical right there.
when and how are you going to get the results?

This story is so weird. I can't can't tell if the op is completely delusional or just stupid. Do you really think you struck gold, because i highly highly doubt it.

OP I hope everything works out for the best but I would be very cautious of this.
A doctor that would risk jail and losing his license for selling gear?

as far as I understand the situation, the doctor is not selling anything.(directly at least...)
A situation where 3 friends(one is a doc, one a steroid seller, a user), The doc may have the interest of the user by helping him with BW, and assuring the quality of the product.
Not impossible... I have a friends who is a cop and he knows I'm using aas, he used some younger and sold some too. So... doc could too...
HIGHLY unusual... I would still HIGHLY doubt it...
But if you truly trust them:
1: wanting your safety
2: being competent
They may want to be sure you are safe but still being complete idiot and giving you bad advise... The advise here are coming from fact and medical studies reinforced by highly experienced user. So trust the advise you'll get here on how to cycle.
If you trust your supplier, buy from him.
If you trust your doc, get BW from him and talk to him of what you do.
But both having contact are highly suspicious...
If the doc is affiliate with the seller and making money on that.... What proof do you have that the BW will be legit...

I have many doctor friends and they are the last people to get any help from. they usually brush you off when you ask them even if its for advice. I agree with everyone's assessment of the story, why would a doc risk years of his life and money invested to become a doc doing something illegal?!

What the fvck..... Lol
No one would be taking my blood outside of a proper facility. That's #1.....
#2 - thousands upon thousands of people attain access to aas daily and no ones supplier provides a doctor lol. I can't see a "bodybuilder" going to this length for anyone without something being in it for him. Maybe you're paying for his uh supply lol
You'd be better off at a Trt clinic. Ur settin urself up for something no so good to happen.

OP when you wake up in an ice cold bathtub and a few organs lighter than before, ask yourself: "did this really make any sense?"

Yes and no XD
IF I had a friends willing to buy from me(and IF I'm willing to sell him). (a friends that I care of), I would rather have him do a cycle smartly and only selling him what he NEEDS, not necessarily what he wants.
People willing to sacrifice profit to help a friends still exist... I have proof of that everyday.
+ If I knew a doc willing to help him too, I would clearly had him get BW done.
It still do a shitload of IF... However, it is possible...
So if they are close friends they may really want his good.

Good one moron. Stay classy.
Update:
It was held in a gym after hours and the doctor gave me a physical and did a stress yes for the heart. Gear was never discussed with the doctor present. After the physical was done and the blood work gets back I will have a sit down with Mr. bodybuilder friend and discuss the best aproach. I had no idea there was even going to be a physical though I'm glad there was, I'd rather know if I'm no ready to cycle.
So the doc does not discuss usage at all and just turns a blind eye although he CLEARLY uses gear himself. Hope this clears some things up.

I believe you. I also believe it is strange to guzzle bovine lactate and eat liquid chicken so my opinion doesn't carry much weight around here.

This seems very strange to me, i find it hard to see a doctor teaming up with a drug dealer to do good for local steroid users!
