    Other Countries Rules

I am not asking for a source...

I found a company online ( a big company) out of Malaysia that sells steroids to US customers.
They reside on a GoDaddy Web server and their website is only in English. To me this means they are marketing to the US customer base.

What would be the penalty if customs or some other agency opened your package and they found steroids?
I am sure it is illegal to import. Would you go to jail? Get fined???

Does anyone think that GoDaddy could get in trouble for aiding and abetting illegal activity?

Or is this considered "soft" illegal activity?? tsk... tsk... your package was seized. don't do this again...

only worry about yourself and not the website owners.

these things come and go in cycles. it wasn't too long ago the DEA was involved in a big sting and shut down many websites, putting people in jail, that sort of thing. they don't have the ability nor the manpower to sustain such a sting. but they still randomly search packages, either with Xrays or actually opening packages. so the answer "depends" on LE's "mood" at the time, how much is in the package, that sort of thing.

the trick is to try and put up sufficient firewalls to protect yourself. never ship questionable items directly to your house. better to use a po box, even if just to prevent the supplier knowing where you live. many companies will ship via accountable mail. try to avoid if possible.

the bottom line is that when buying online, there will always be risk.
