    Caffeine and androgen receptors

I have read somewhere or heard that caffeine and/or stimulants can have a negative effect on androgen receptors. Of course small amounts like a cup of coffee do not, but large amounts (some preworkouts and/or multiple scoops) can eventually effect them. Now I am not sure of the dose or length of time.

Has anyone ever heard this? I think it has something to do with the stress or that caffeine is a stresser??

Some many things enter and leave my brain lately that it is entirely possible that ive made this up. Anyone?

Quite the opposite. Caffeine can actually increase androgen receptor expression.
