pinned my quads before and couldnt walk for a week, do i risk trying it again ????
so i tried pinning my quads before and couldnt walk for a week, did i do it wrong or is this a sensative area ? do i risk trying it again as it does seem like an ideal spot to pin ! first time i did do 2ml which may have been too much ?

The quads are my favorite spot to pin. It is possible that an unsteady hand or the gear caused the pain. The quads can handle 2cc with no problem.
The first time I pinned in the quad I had the same problem but it was due to the fact that I was nervous and very unsteady.Last edited by diesel101; 01-06-2014 at 11:44 AM.

What did you inject? What size needle did you use, 23 GA 25 GA? What problems did you have walking? Perhaps you hit a nerve, was it a 1 inch needle? Maybe try a different location next time, i.e. glutes or delts.

If that is your dose then yes. For example if you are running 500 mg of test e per week and it it 250 mg per ml, then you would inject 2 ml. Or 1 ml twice a week. You can try splitting the dose up if you think its too much oil.

I use a 23ga 1 inch but you're quad should be able to handle a 1 1/2 inch if not a person should check out the diet section.

I feel your pain. My quads always feel like that with Tren . If your quad hurts pin your glutes.

I got really nasty PIP in each quad the first time I injected into each leg. Was super stiff. Things that helped me:
Warm shower before
Heating up the filled syringe under hot water first
going for the head of the muscle
splitting injections into more, smaller injections per week

I have no problem putting up to 600mg of gear in a quad. Beyond 600mg, PIP can become an issue and I've been handling needles for more than 18 years so its not due to inexperience.
Heating the oil, injecting deeper, using a small bore (needle), small doses, small volumes, and more can change the experience. I wouldn't necessarily give up on quads with one bad injection, however there are plenty of areas to inject that you shouldn't have a problem finding your comfort zones.

I've tried quads a few times over the years, and it does that to me every time...can't train legs for that week and I'm limpin like a s.o.b. It's actually not much better with my glutes either, so I just stick with delts.

lets be honest here you can say your never pinnig quads again but eventually you will have to cus your few injection spots will get harder and harder to find a spot you can still inject in when the scar tissue eventually catches up to you...embrace the quad shot young grasshoppas'....

You didn's say, nore has anyone asked, where in your quad did you inject? It's a pretty big place, with only a few sweet spots...
I inject about 8" below my hip, 1/4 way from the front, out towards the side.

like I said eventually it will catch up to you(scar tissue)...unless your some sort of superhuman...it happens to everyone at some point...have you started to notice more blood when you pull the needle out yet?...is it getting harder to push in?...is dispensing the gear become a struggle(as in dose pushing the plunger seem harder?) if you answer yes to any of these questions its time to give those spots a break and try a new muscle...

I use to only do quads for the first 2 years then they became sensitive and I always seem to hit a nerve.
A lot of PIP is cause from injecting to fast. Slower is better. No need to inject 1cc or 2cc in 30 seconds. I usually take 1min per cc. If you are pushing to hard on the plunger you are blasting the gear into your muscle causing it to bruise.

Yeah bro. Once in a while it feels like the oil doesn't want to go in at all. I have to use a lot of pressure. I def want to rotate more but like I was saying, ive tried glute and quads a couple times and was in serious limp mode for several days. What the hell am I doing wrong? I used upper right quadrant of my glute, and where my thumb lands on my quad on the front but off to the side a bit.
