Tough to say with wrestlers. Roids are clearly not the only drug they take. Sleeping pills to pain killers to hard street drugs these guys do it all.

He could just have had a family history of heart disease. If I recall, his father died of a heart attack in the 90's (Warrior got fired because he missed scheduled dates over this). So that would make Warrior about the same age as his father when he died. Diet can also play a big part too. I don't know what his diet consisted of (except for that he mentioned eating a lot of tuna during his bodybuilding and wrestling days), but it's possible that could be a contributing factor as well.
Even though it's not the usual thing in this day and age, people who have never touched drugs or alcohol sometimes still die before they turn 60. If I recall, Warrior didn't do rec drugs and I doubt he abused alcohol. And he hadn't used steroids since the early 90's when they became illegal. To those who don't believe that, they can compare his physique from when he wrestled Wrestlemania 6 to when he returned in the mid 90s. He was significantly smaller then.
Regardless, before people start making any conclusions about the cause of his death, at the very least, wait for the autopsy results to be released. The guy was a hero to many people and it's really not respectful to his memory to run his name through the mud.Last edited by Honkey_Kong; 04-12-2014 at 05:21 AM.

I can't these guys sleeping good nights or eating well over the travel schedules demanded by the business. Keeping in mind these guys are stars every night to someone somewhere who wants to party with whatever party favor they have in their pockets.

If you look at the life style if wrestlers in the 80's it was insane working 6 days a week, stacking steroids long unsafe cycles, stimulants to wake them up, heavy painkillers , cocaine and alcohol to socialise. Combination of all these factors I think
