On Test Cyp 150MG/Week - Can Someone Tell Me What the Hell is Going on?!
Hello,
I've been on TRT for about 8 months now. I take 150mg Test Cyp injections/week. I've had a huge increase in libido and a huge increase in erections. I get erections all the time now, like I'm a friggen teenager. And they are way more hard than they've ever been. My test levels have increased from 180 to 600.
Here's the odd thing. I've also become extremely emotional and hypersensitive. Like a woman! But my E2 levels are fine and I'm experience high libido and lots of erections, so what the hell is going on? I feel insecure all the time and I will get sad and start crying and shit! WTF! It's driving my girl crazy and it makes me feel pathetic. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it possible for the test to be working in the area of sex drive and erections AND also cause Estrogen problems? I want to bang every woman I see, and I also feel like crying if my girlfriend says something to offend me. This is not like me at all.
I'm not taking anything else and I've had my E2 tested and it was ok. I'm 38.
Any input is appreciated.

You say your e2 was fine, but what was the value? List your e2 along with the lab range.
Also, was your e2 a standard test? Or sensitive test?

Also, splitting your dose into 75x2 helps prevent e2 spikes. This may be something you need to consider

Yes I would get retested.
150 is not much to raise your e2.

Ok, the last results I have are from 2 months ago. I'm going to go get tested again tomorrow and I will post the new results in a few days. But, is it possible to have high E2 but still have a super high libido and tons of erections? I thought if your E2 was high your libido would be way down and you wouldn't get hard??

To me it sounds like this is just how your body reacts to higher hormone levels
I am exactly the same, but when I get to about triple of what you are on now

You can still function normally with high e2. Everyone reacts to different hormones differently.
E2 is the most difficult part of trt.
Be sure you're getting the sensitive e2 assay.

think this through mate.
sexual arousal (libido) is an emotional state. your increased testosterone levels have increased this emotional state. Are you surprised to learn that other emotions can be triggered as well?

I'm taking the same dose and not experiencing anything like that. I feel no different, in fact, except for more energy and more libido. Which is AMAZING!
