What the f**k happened here?
Here is the situation, I was chatting with a buddy while he was doing his shot of test in his delt. I watched him aspirate and as he did his oil changed from the typical yellow(ish) to a milky, cream looking substance. Not the whole syringe, just a bit in the end closest to the pin. He withdrew (cause it scared him a bit but not painful by any means). Ejected the little bit of milky substance into the sink, tossed the syringe, reloaded a new pin from the same bottle of Test-E, switched delts and repeated without any issues. He grabbed the bit he ejected in the sink and kind of rubbed it between his finger and thumb. It was kind of like "snot".
I asked him if it had any smell (thinking maybe infection in his muscle) he said no. I asked if hes ever had a bad delt shot in the past, abscess or anything like that. He cant think of anything other than a couple bad glute pins..he isnt in any pain or discomfort, hell, he's probably already forgotten about it hahaha...(I sure as f**k haven't)
Anyone else have this happen? Is it possible that he could have aspirated some residual oils from a previous injection into the needle? He rotates thru 6 injection sites, and only pins E3D, so it had been a while since he pinned that area last. I told him to stick a new pin back in there and try to draw out some more but he wouldn't go for it...
I mostly pin my delts (I suck at rotating sites like I should) never have i seen my gear change color while aspirating...but I'm only one cycle deep, maybe those with more experience have seen this before?

Abscess.

Yes I agree with the great minds before me that it was likely an abscess. There is a slight chance it could have been a white thrombus. Has he had BW lately? Your buddy needs to begin using more injection sites.

Thanks guys... I would have thought he'd be in pain if he had an abscess but thats why I posted, I dont know much about this stuff.
numbere - He rotates between 6, that isnt enough? (again I don't know much) isn't Delts, Glutes & Quads the standard? There is no doubt I need to, I have never pinned glutes, only quads & delts...

All of the above examples are suitable locations. Note that everyone is different so you need to find where is most comfortable for you.

Op theres something else it could be and has happened to me several times. When your friend pulled back to aspirate how closely did you look at the "milky substance"? reason i ask. Is next time you or your friend go to inject, stick yourself. Then when you aspirate pull back on the plunger pretty far. As you pull back watch the oil at the tip of the syringe. Because there is a vacuum effect the oil at the tip will turn into a foam like substance that at a glance does look like a milky substance. This could of been what you saw. *note the farther you pull back on the plunger, the easier this is to see. So its possible your friend just pulls back farther when he aspirates and you dont. Just thought id add this because its the firat thing i thought of when i read your post.

Hi Rig.
I only use my glute. Once I had a never ending pain in my shoulder after aqueous stanozolol injection. Never try to use it again to pin. I don't know if is different or painless with oil based substances.

Thanks michael30, I agree with the foam part, I've seen that myself, but when he ejected it into the sink and then rolled it in his fingers it was definitely not the oil, not foamy at all. It was literally thick and sticky like mucus. Didn't have near the consistency of the oil in the syringe. - **I didnt touch it, just from watching him that is the best the best description i can give to try and paint the picture...I'm a good friend but I aint gonna play with anything that falls out of my friends haha**
