Fatigued and Achy
TL;DR: I'm extremely worn out by working out or even just moving around. My strength does not seem to be affected. Any idea what could be going on an how I can fix it?
Last night before bed my whole body felt kind of sensitive, not so much aching but something like that, and like I didn't want to be touched or even feel the wind on my skin, just wanted to curl up and sleep. I decided to forget about my morning cardio and just get some more sleep this morning so today I just did weight training.
At the gym today I managed to move the weights perfectly fine (strength seems to be intact despite the fatigue) but it felt quite exhausting to the point where I had to take longer than usual breaks between sets and excercises and left the gym early before finishing everything. Plus in addition to that, my muscles ache during workouts (this I've been noticing for a while and attributed it to Oxandrolone)
Earlier today I noticed that when I'd get up from my desk and take a stretch before heading somewhere, besides a light burning sensation, it would tire me so much I'd have to sit back down for a moment before getting up again.
I've been feeling like this to a much lesser extent I think maybe for a few days. I'm not quite sure because it was not so intense before.
What I'm running:
Test E 500mg / week (week 6 in total, week 3 at this dose/ester)
Oxandrolone 60mg /day (week 6)
Clenbuterol 40mcg /day (Day 6)
Anastrozole 0.25mg / day
Also taking several other supplements:
Organ Shield 1 caps/day
NAC 600 to 1200mg / day
Garlic Oil
Fish Oil
Multivitamin
Creatine 5g per day
Melatonin 1.5 to 3mg at night
ZMA
1 sugar free energy drink per day (with 1000mg taurine, 80mg caffeine, B vits)
300ml to 600ml coffee per day
Sleep: Between 6.5 and 8 hours per night, recently around 7 hours has been typical.
Diet: M-F roughly BMR cals with macros at >/= 200g protein, </= 30g carbs. Sat & Sun free and w/o tracking.
Training: Mon to Friday AM Eliptical 30mins at 70-80%, weight training in the afternoon. Saturday either a rest day if I feel like I need it or weight training only. Sunday, always a rest day.

2 things. Doesn't appear you eat enough carbs at 30g per day. Throw some oats and flax seed in that diet, and maybe some almonds or peanut butter for a small amount of fat.
Also I love clen . But that stuff makes me feel exactly like you do the first week. It's taxing on your central nervous system. You may think you sleep, but the clen probably has you tossing and turning all night and really only giving you a couple hours of quality sleep.
Make sure you are drinking 2 gallons of water a day and try to limit caffeine intake to 0 if you canLast edited by that guy1234; 08-12-2014 at 03:32 PM.

The first thing that jumps out to me is your carb intake. Unless that's a typo, 30g a day seems incredibly low. My advice would be to increase the carb intake and see what happens.

My diet is loosely based on Dr. Mauro DiPasquale "Anabolic Diet" amongst other similar ways of eating. I am very disciplined during the week and enjoy looking forward to having my refeed on the weekend when I can let loose and still get results. For this WOE to work, I need to stay at 30g or less of carbs per day as per Dr. DiPasquale (I now low carb is still controversial in body building circles but he is a body builder himself and trains bodybuilders and he had bodybuilders in mind when building the diet). I considered that my calories could be too low but I was already feeling like this yesterday not even 24 hours after my weekend refeed so that doesn't make sense.
I think it might be the Clen . I'm thinking of stopping it but haven't decided yet. I was only going to do 2 weeks at 40mcg to try and boost results.
How did you figure that? I only provided info on my typical carb max and my typical protein minimum. I eat at around BMR or a bit higher at around 1800-2000 cals per day during the week.Last edited by mesophyte; 08-12-2014 at 04:00 PM.

Gotcha. Based on 200g of protein(800 cals) and 30g carbs(120 cals) that's all I saw. I'm not dissecting your diet. I just went off the numbers posted.
Protein = 4 calories per gram
Carbs= 4 calories per gram
Fat = 9 calories per gram

Why is that? As I said, it is based on Dr. Mauro DiPasquale's work amongst others...

If that Dr. says you build muscle with 2000 cals per day and no carbs he's an idiot.
Dont know your stats but you need MINIMUM 3000 cals/day in any body frame.
If you are cutting need to find your BMR and eat a bit less than that, of course you will feel bad, fatigued and achy as you are restricting your body from nutrients.
Want a feel good diet? Just eat as many (good) carbs as you wish, mantain fats low, eat clean, no fried and processed food, lots of fruit and water. Some ppl are able to maintain this diet and stay lean with appropriate cardio.

Agreed. I cut with 2500 calories. Everyone is different, but I think you should reevaluate your diet man.

Today is Tuesday, the fatigue etc started getting bad yesterday, less than 24 hours after a 2 day caloric surplus. This is why it does not make sense to me that this has to do with my diet.
My other responses below go somewhat off topic...
I never said that he preaches no carbs and 2000 cals per day. I am not at zero carbs and I eat above BMR.
His diet (which again, I am not on) includes up to 30g of carbs per day and weekend high carb refeeds that are low in fat and lower in protein than weekdays. Calories during the week depend on your goals, if you are cutting if I recall correctly he recommends eating at 500 calories below maintenance on week days. I don't recall what he says about calories during refeed days.
I'm eating above BMR. My BMR is 1815 calories. Today I've eaten 1969 calories. I tend to stay around that much, aiming for above 1800 but below 2000.
I appreciate the feedback and I'd love to take your advice. Problem is, I'm pretty sure that I'd gain fat at that number of calories.
I eat at a caloric surplus on weekends with plenty of carbs. I don't know how many cals because with eating out and everything else it gets tricky to track compared to my rigorous weekday meals which I weigh and track religiously, but 5000 or even much more calories per day on weekends would not surprise me at all. So averaged out over the week my caloric deficit is not so huge.
Actually a couple of years ago I was doing Stronglifts 5x5 and following the Anabolic Diet without limiting my caloric intake and over the course of the several months that I was on that diet and training program I gained a lot of strength but also more body fat than I would have liked. I eventually changed my program and diet because of that.

Height: 5'9
Weight: ~187lbs
BF: 8% according to my calipers and this calculator. But I don't believe that. I'd guess at around 10% or so.
