Instead of looking for an advice here why do not visit the doctor.

so your dr put you on 100mg, you thought it wasn't enough, so you jumped to 500mg....?? 500mg is a cycle not replacement. you need to go back to your dr. blood pressure issues is not something to take lightly.

Try a low dose aspirin daily, it might help a bit. You should be careful when upping your dose without knowing what you are doing. Drop back to the prescribed dose and get in to see your doctor.

You have a serious medical problem. I've never even heard of diastolic dysfunction in someone who isn't like 80 with a mitral valve prolapse or something. Getting your hypotension sorted out should take immediate precedence over anything else.

Are you on any Rx meds?

Your baseline BP is low due to one of the following: You have a long fitness history and consequently a healthy cardiovascular system (unlikely); acute on chronic adrenal insufficiency in the setting on chronic hypogonadism (more likely and dangerous). This is because hypogonadism and adrenal failure tend to go together and what your doc prescribed only helps the gonad part. Your adrenals are responsible for secreting cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine when you are stressed --> higher BP. The sudden high dose you decided to take must have completely disrupted your hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. You need to return to your doc to have more tests done, particularly in regards to your other steroid hormones, their precursors and the status of your HPA axis.

I do have a long fitness history, I've naturally lifted for 3 years and "trained" since I was in high school, never smoked drank or anything. BP was really bad then too

My mother has mitro valve prolapse BUT she says that I don't have it. EKG and chest x ray show nothing wrong either

I apologize: my first comment came across as diminutive. Still though, tell me about your diet and how much water you drink a day. Sometimes, the simplest explanations are the correct ones

I bet he plays h*ll standing up quickly.

OP, if you're diastolic is truly that low, you have no business driving a vehicle.
