Red and Hot SubQ injection in 24 hours
Okay people, one of the 4 SubQ injections has started to turn red and get hot. Two others look only slightly irritated, and 1 of the 4 looks like nothing happened.
The red one stung way more than the others. I took an aspirin as a fever reducer as soon as I saw it today.
These were all on my stomach, and the one that's red and hot is two inches to the right and 3 inches south of the belly button.
I drew a circle around it to see if it gets bigger or smaller. What's my next best step here?
What might I expect if it gets worse? Go to hospital, deny AAS, don't disclose the AI's, dostinex, test, deca , in my system, take the antiobiotic IV...etc etc?
Such a handful these injections are.

He's doing a cycle. Had too much anxiety with IM injections.
I don't know what could cause it man. Unless your gear is bad. .

Then it Def can be just pure volume if it's test and deca ....

You could be having a allergic reaction to the oil, BA could be too high, are you swabbing the vial with alcohol and pinning with the needle you are drawing with? Maybe you are injecting too much at once.

If it turns out to be an infection, you could tell them you were taking injectable b12

I offered up the SubQ idea b/c like Hawk stated he was having real anxiety issues pinning...
I did quote nothing over .6ml and to start if do .3ml to see how you react(the first one went ok the other day correct)? Could you have added more ml to each shot? Just curious?
As Kel said its best to get over the fear and do IM inj... Very easy once you get experience...

Alrighty, I'll check on it tomorrow and see my PCP if it's worse. Yes, injectable b12. Right now it's not red or hot anymore, after I took an aspirin and a nap.
I've done about 4 IM injections, and they gave me progressively worse anxiety each time. The last injection, I had an actual panic attack. (this was maybe my second or third one ever. I've recently quit smoking weed and drinking alcohol- I think it's the cause of my previously non-existent anxiety).
So hoping not to have to ditch my dreams of stabbing my body with oil, I took the board advice and went subq. I know there are trade off, but right now this works for me.
And given that it might be an infection, I'm glad that it's subq this time and not IM.
We'll see how tomorrow pans out.

Op I am prescribed trt and do my injections sub Q. I've also injected several other compounds sub Q to see what can and can't be injected sub Q. So I have a decent amount of experience with sub Q injects. First off how much are you injecting in each spot? I found you can do up to .4ml (.3ml being ideal) with not much issue. Anymore and it causes a lot of irritation and swelling. Now another thing I've found is certain compounds just don't do well sub Q. I would suggest trying the test shot separate from the DECA to see if you can take test sub Q. My guess is it could be the DECA. Another thing I've found is one brand I can take Sub Q but others brands will cause raised red spots and swelling. My conclusion is its just the ratio of chemicals used when made. Just to put you at ease 25% of my sub Q injects will cause a red mark for 1-3 days. If I don't use my prescription test. (A great brand that doesn't cause any red marks sub q is alpha pharma) if you have anymore question you can pm me.

Michael thanks for the input!
Some confirmation on your thoughts:
-it was the Deca injections that are causing the red hotness
-it was 1 out of 4 injections that were red and hot, consistent with your 25% rule
-I injected between .3 and .5 in each of the spots. The one that was worst was the .5ml
Additional info:
-this deca is mixed from two different labs. It hasn't crashed. I didn't warm it up this time though. This was the fourth of four, and I bet the heavier oil (250mg/ml instead of 200mg/ml) was pushed in last and the source of the irritation.
-I'm thinking the front of the stomach is more sensitive than the sides
--I injected at 90 degrees and not 45, which I just read is a bad idea
Question:
-How deep should I be injecting subq? Insulin needles put that right at a half inch. I'm using 1 inch 25 gauges, but not all the way in.

Hate the small bumps I get from even .2 of test sub-q
My gf was wanting me to go to doctor because of "rash" lol

I won't pin anything but hcg b12 subQ... Lol never have nor do want to!
He was having real bad anxiety issues so I mentioned subQ... But I told em to start st .3ml and it worked then he bumped the volume(.5ml) and broke out... Plus he's using a dart - not a slin pin - and guessing it's a 1/2" idk

Kelkel, I had a big scare with my first few injections. It's a long story. Just the IDEA of an IM infection or especially oil embolism freaks me out major. So when I'm aspirating, it's a real tense moment for me. Also, somehow the sensation of a needle in my quads has grown progressively less comfortable.
So sub Q works for me, for now. I know it's got drawbacks, I'll handle them.
Yes I am using 25g 1.5'' needles. I just ordered some 30g .5'' to finish the rest.
The lumps are still here after about 5 days. Shit stays around for a while?

Hmm, this same injection site went down after taking some nsaids/fever reducers, but now after injecting the next week (twice a week), the new injections sites of Deca are still turning red, and the one from ten days ago is turning red again also. I'm guessing this is just a systemic response- multiple sights adding up to total stress on the body.
More importantly, should the oil be hanging around that long on site? All the injections seem to still have some lumps. 10 days feels like a while, even for subq?

Yes it can take a while for the lumps to go away. Personally I would just try a 1in needle and do IM, that way you dont freak because you are going to deep and it's really feels about the same as SubQ. I had bad anxiety when I use to do it but it's because I would dart. Now I just touch the needle to the skin and go with a spot that does not sting then SLOWLY let it sink in. 99% of the time I cant even feel anything. Use a 27g 1in.
I use to do only quads but now I do mostly shoulders and glutes. Shoulders are good because the 1in is perfect length. Obviously do it in the ball or lower part of the shoulder and not upper near the bones.
