My first Abcess

I've been cycling for years so obviously I follow proper injection protocol and sterile techniques.
However this time around I've ran into a few problems
First was a few weeks ago My shoulder hurt like a mother ****er swollen as **** and hot, I drained it myself and it got MUCH better no issues ( I also started a 10 day course of antibiotics )
When I drained it there was about 4-5 ML of blood/pus No odor No fever red streaks etc

I thought okay well MAYBE it was due to scar tissue as I have pinned my delt often through my cycles over the years
Well I switched to glutes started with a small volume since I've pinned glutes maybe Once or twice (always preferred Quads and delts)

Anyways first two injections on each side went fine no issues Upped the volume no issues
Well This third Pin I have a BIG ball on my left ass cheek and a small one on my right
I drained the left and got maybe 2-3 ml of just blood No Pus this time though.....

Seems your gear is dirty.

You could have unadvertely contaminated it yourself.

How would I have done that? I use fresh pins to draw aND to shoot.....can I filter it?

I wouldn't bother filtering it I would trash it do you wipe the vial top an injection site with alcohol pad?

I've brewed my own gear in the past and made sure every step of the process was sterile. Once a great while I'll get an abscess. It happens. I just dump the vial and get a clean one.

I wipe the top of the bottle and injection site every time.
