Guar Gum and cholesterol: a weapon without comparisons.
Hi guys, a collegue told me about a Guar Gum/Flour. After a simply research, i've found an interesting study it about:
Antihyperglycemic and antihyperlipidemic effects of guar gum on streptozotocin-induced diabetes in male rats
Although the experiments were done on rats, the results are very promising, mainly, under lipid profile. It could be an useful allied in our cyclies to fight cholesterol. Give it a shot !

Uhm, Guar gum it's mostly soluble fiber. The effect of dietary fibers from fruits and veggies on lipids and glycemia is well documented, I don't think Guar gum holds any distinct hypolipidemic quality, comparing to regular fiber from diet.
