How much does finastride help?

So I've been shedding bad on Test and was wondering what I could realistically expect from finastride. Would it stop the hair loss almost all together or just a little bit?

Experienced fina user here. It stops all hair loss and actually grows more hair for me. Some guys don't respond as well but most would say it stopped any hair loss they had.

I've never felt a bit of difference between elevated or crushed dht levels with fina. I use 5 mg's daily for BPH, not hair issues. But like Quester said, monitor your levels so you learn what it does to you.

How long does it take to start working? Not hair regrowth, just hair loss prevention.

It's a weird drug I think. U start taking it and ur gunna shed like a bitch for a month or two and then it stops and I get regrowth. It's something u take and plan on taking for a while imo

since it blocks dht conversion which i hear is inactive in the muscle cell does that mean you get more muscle building from the same levels of test had you not taken it?

Yes, Fina blocks the conversion of T to DHT by up to 70%, and test turns to DHT everywhere in the body except skeletal muscle. To your question, yes, T levels can rise but not greatly. Studies show guys with lower T get the most bang for the buck when it comes to percentage of T elevation for some reason.
