    Dieuretics help

    I have a show tomorrow and I am out of town. I was retaining a lot of water (gained about 8 lbs). I was able to get ahold of some dieuretics but I need advice on how to take them.
    I have spironolactone 25 mg and triamterene and hydrochlorothiazide (75/50 mg).
    Any recommendations? Tonight I will have access to the ones that I am used to.

    Man I can't give any advice other than be careful I took some one time too cut weigh for a meet.I woke up with my legs cramping like crazy the next day I was weak as hell.Goggle it bro.

    Hey songdog. I did and it is similar to what I have at home. I have always been very careful with dieuretics because of stories like yours. The ones I have keep the potassium levels. I am taking about 1/4 of what the normal dosage is to start.
    This last week has been the worst preparation I have had. I was perfect for one week out then things went to hell in a hand basket. Spent my refining week to try and get back to where I was a week ago.

    I've only used lasix. If the show is tomorrow you've already dropped water. Drink small small amount of black coffee. It will have a diuretic effect. But a small amount.

    Now, I am trying to lose as much as possible.

    Show 6 pm
    Yes. Used OTC the last two days and started the above this morning.
    Dropped all water last night.
    Starting to carb up. And will have wine tonight to further dehydrate.

    I don't know what would have made you gain 8 lbs in a week.
    You have a lot of time till prejudging. Let the diuretics work. I don't like the wine idea. I'd only do a cap of water when needed. I know you've started tanning so a sauna is out. Just relax. It will come together.

    8 lbs in 3 days. One of those days I consumed less than 1000 calories just to make sure it was water. I turned super smooth and started freaking. I think that it was the HGH that I was taking. I just took it to lean out a bit and the first time taking it.

    Last night was a late night and I was exhausted. Slept in and I feel great and I am looking good. Water will not be a problem for me
    Due to all of this water retention, I did not make the weight that I was hoping for so I will be with the bigger boys.
    At my age, the weight classes are difficult, but you only live once. Heck I graduated high school before many of them Were born.

    Please don't tell me you've taken all three? You also need to make sure you don't flush all your electrolytes out (can be very dangerous) you should sip on pedialyte

    It was actually two pills. I started out with 1/4 each one and took that dosage 3x.
    I then arrived at night and took 1/4 of mine( which was similar). All of them try to keep the potasium. It did what I neede
    D it to.
    I am leery of dieuretics but I was desperate.

    I actually fucked up big before my first show. I was starving so I ate a larger than normal plain salad 3 days out. All the fiber causes my to hold water in my gut and bloat. I had to take a laxative to get it to flush out. Problem is, laxatives don't work well without water and I was obviously cutting back. I was shitting my brains out all night before the show and upto prejudging. I couldn't hold my poses as hard as I wanted to for fear of shitting myself on stage and becoming an internet meme...

    LMAO.
    That was sort of my approach forget about everything else except the water. I will be posting after the show with the details to see if someone can figure out why this happened. I am still not sure.

    I want to thank everyone! The night before the show, my feet were swelled up. I kept with the program and was able to place 2nd in the masters and 4th against the young guys at 80+ kg.
    Three days before I was ready to throw in the towel because of all of the water.
    I am one that does not have the mental game conquered yet, so all of the support helped me get through it.

    Ok. I got through the show, now I want to see why this happened. my y weight was pretty stable. The last week before a show I usually lose 8-10 lbs.
    The first 2 competitions I started dehydration a week out.
    Last year I started increasing the water one week out and then cut it off the day before. Excellent results and I was not fighting against my body for water.
    This year I planned on the same thing. The diet a week before was just fish and veggies. This year I was using ephedrine and caffeine. I also started 2 weeks out using HGH at 2iu. The last week, I upped the ephedrine to 100 mg and 400 cafeine. I also upped the HGH to 2iu in the morning and 2 iu at night.
    On Tuesday I had gained 1.5 kg, on wednesday I gained another 1.7 kg however I only consumed about 1000 calories. This made me think that it was water. My definition was almost gone and I looked swollen. I stopped evrything except mast, tren and winny and started the dieurectics.
    The above is the only thing that changed from the previous preparations. I sort of think it was the HGH however I was fine the week before at 2iu'S. Would the additional 2iu's make that much of a difference?
    NOTE: my feet were swollen and red the night before the competition.
    Any insight would be beneficial.
