Post PCT Estrogen Rebound - Puffy Nips Concern

    Hey guys,

I posted a few weeks back my BW post PCT (4 weeks) and although it was too early, it showed some sky-high E2 levels, which was disregarded as likely a misreading due to not being the sensitive E2 test being conducted.

However, in the last few weeks I've noticed my nipples, particularly my left is puffy, and sometimes is sensitive. I can feel a small lump, but it's mild. The puffiness is whats bothering me because you can see it through tighter fit t-shirts. When my nipples are a little hard, the puffiness and slight sag goes away and they look pretty normal, but I've been wearing compression shirts pretty much every where I go unless I have a sweatshirt on just to hide it. It's pretty embarrassing....but I digress.

I've started 40mg Nolva + 0.5mg adex ED to try and knock this out, but I have no idea if it's reversible or not. It's been noticeable for the last 6 weeks roughly, very slightly in the beginning but more obvious the last couple weeks. Again, it doesn't appear to be full on gyno, but my nipples definitely have some puffiness to them and point out a little more.

Am I approaching this right with 40mg Nolva + 0.5mg adex per day? Did I wait too long to address this, or do you think I'll be fine if I just be patient?

Nolva should have been included from the start of PCT. Blood work needs to be done at least 8 week post PCT. Note clomid can cause nipple sensitivity...

Should be fine, if you keep up with nolva and adex, if you feel your nipples are sore or itchy you should always have something on hand during or after a cycle imo.

I most definitely used Nolva in PCT. There was a brief period (week or two) when my nipples looked and felt completely normal post-pct. then it kicked back up about 2 weeks after pct.

    PCT: Nolva 40/40/20/20, Clomid 100/100/50/50

They don’t feel itchy at all, just a little sensitive and look puffy and mildly pointy.

Right on! Is there any particular reason why you'd suggest Letro over Adex?

and if so, what dosing would you recommend? Never used it before and want to steer clear of any nasty sides.

Adex just inhibits aromatization (stops test from converting to E), Letro absolutely kills estrogen . thats why you got to be careful with the dosage as you can crash your E , but it does an awesome job of lowering total estrogen very quickly.
I'd start with 1.5mg 3x per week. and evaluate on a weekly basis, don't just keep taking it week to week

Nolva or Raloxifene should help you but it takes time.
Not much of a fan of AI's (suicidal or otherwise) for gyno.
Also consider looking into Andractim Gel to help.
Consider low dose Nolva with all future cycles.

Kelkel - just out of curiosity, roughly how long should I expect the puffiness to subside (if at all) if I'm taking 60mg ralox per day?

I just came off of 2.5 weeks of Nolva without much progress with the puffiness, but the lump seems to have all but disappeared. I suspect this could take a while? Or is it starting to look like I'm screwed and am destined to have pointy tits unless I get surgery?

My guess would be a couple months. It takes time.

Much appreciated. So if I don't notice a significant difference by April/May, you think it's probably not fixable with SERMs?

Possibly. Gyno though is usually hard and fibrous and you should be able to palpate it. It can be deeper in than guys think as well.

OK - as of right now I can not feel a lump with my hands. A couple weeks ago I could. That’s encouraging..it’s just this damn puffiness that’s pissing my off. Don’t want to take off my shirt unless my nipples are at least slightly harder when it’s not really noticeable, thankfully.

Between a cruise and a bachelor party to Mexico, I have a lot of beach weather coming up in the next 4 months...hence the concern.

Thanks for your help. I’ll stay the course.
