AAS use and Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Curious if anyone has done a cycle(s) while living with IBD?

I have Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and am interested in doing a cycle. I will absolutely be discussing with my specialist however I wanted to hear your stories.

I'm currently in remission and living an otherwise normal life but am taking Imuran and Remicade to keep it in control.

Iam sorry to hear that hope you stay healthy, this is just my personal experience, I think I developed severe IBS as a result of my steroid use ! Iam not sure maybe it has nothing to do with steriods or maybe its because of hormonal imbalances but I did not had this problem before my cycles, so just becarful

I'm not sure how Test will interact with the Biologics you mentioned above? But if you google this subject you will find PLENTY of Dr.s who have put patienst with IBD on TRT with good success. Just be very careful with your product source, make sure its clean and legit

Yes they do, however I don't normally get the results back unless there is an issue though so I've never actually seen that number to date. I get blood work every 3 months as it is so I am sure I can have a few tick boxes added and have the results sent back to me, obviously following the bloodwork schedule outlined in the guides here though not the every 3 months.

My S/O is a nurse so I have access to the drug guide they use (name is escaping me right now) which lists all potential interactions of different drugs, Remicade and Imuran don't have any interactions listed with anything used on a typical Test E cycle with AI and proper PCT. Of course I'll still be speaking with my doctors about it beforehand though... can never be too certain.

Thanks brother, hate to hear anyone with digestive issues too, it's truly debilitating at times. My disease occurred within two years of me using whey protein religiously... and frankly whenever I have it, I get immediate stomach issues, I know that happens to a lot of people too but I've always wondered if there was some sort of connection. There's no scientific studies that show any relation, just a hunch of mine based on personal experience, anyways I just stick to eating a lot of lean meats now to get my protein intake for the day.
