Low test levels... Considering cruising permanently

So I've got low T but not low enough for TRT and considering running a moderate dose of test permanently.... Anyone doing this or have any feedback?

Does running a low dose, say 250 mg per week or maybe spread it out at 150mg twice a week for example... Will my natural production shut down even with a low dose? All I'm trying to do is get my levels to normal, or slightly above to progressively build and maintain.

You will be shut down with that dose and 250mg is not a therapeutic / TRT dose.

There is not a hard number for Test levels to be administered HRT. A good doctor treats symptoms rather than chasing bloodwork numbers only.

You need to read the TRT stickies.

I was on the low side and decided to self-administer TRT. 200 mg/week is too much and unhealthy, unless you're someone who doesn't absorb well. I had acne galore and swollen hands on that dose because of the high estrogen conversion. The higher your test levels are, the higher your estrogen also. And that's not a good thing. 100-125 mg/week should be all you need, split in two doses. My test levels at 200 mg/week were 1640 approximately - so I'm thinking at 100/125 a week they will be around 800. Also taking HCG , so they might be actually around 12-1300.

Juice is still juice, unless u r some pro athlete in his prime synthetic test wins hands down

It's all about what u really want to get yourself into

Personally I much rather stay on low trt doses than run clomid or some PH junk

    But, to each their own

And with that low of dose, does that shut down your system?

If it works, then maybe you are secondary hypogonadic which, I believe, doesn't require outside test to treat.

Are you treating yourself or is this through a Dr.?

    What are your T levels?

I had 4.5 before I jumped on my first cycle one year ago. I think that if I could go back in time I wouldn't screw with my hormones. Though if it's something like 3, then I fully understand. It was a huge difference to me, 3 vs. 4.5.

    @Cylon
How were the levels after laying off clomid?

If you spend some time reading the educational threads it will shed light on how endocrine system and hormones work.

Introducing exogenous Testosterone shuts you down over time; it doesn't matter if it's 50mg or 27389494049272mg.

TRT and Cruising has positive and negative consequences if you don't build a foundation and understand the basics of the educational components.

You don't need a PHD but skipping the FREE resources (stickies) is setting yourself up to FAIL, Regardless of the decision you make.

Oh, I thought that you got running to 1200 without external supply. That would be sick!
