Gallbladder Removal - who’s had one

No, I’m not certain & it’s a stab in the dark - literally

Who’s had it done - how are you afterwards? Can you eat even remotely close to what you have before the removal

I’ve had both gall bladder and appendix removed. Appendix back when I was a teenager. Gall bladder in 2015. Yeah, I can eat pretty much whatever. But, you kind of have to figure out what you can and can’t tolerate. I avoid spicy shit and keep digestive enzymes around just in case. Most people I know that have had it removed report the same. Only one I know regretted it. Personally, the pain and discomfort I was in made things a lot better once it was gone.

I had an operation called roux-en-hepaticojejunostomy. They removed my gallbladder and choledochal duct at the same time, while building a new duct using the smalö intestine.
Even in such situation, I had no problem so far except a stomach pain occurring on my right side when I ingest too too much fat..

It should have been roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy, I mistyped it.
Roux is the French word for route I guess. The channel they have built is Y shaped, this is why I guess.
Hepaticojejunostomy is basically pointing out the anastomosis of jejunum and hepatic pathway.
The fancy name is pretty much normal when you’re operating on a god’s body.
